All praise Dee-luded... the whole club is reading and waiting... ask the oracle

Whay are you talking about, i'm not a person that does things out of praise seeking, quite the opposite. I only come on here to talk to people & share ideas. And to do the things I believe in.

But I do like appreciation, like anyone.

If thats how it seems, then I'm sorry I've given the wrong impression. I am actually yhe type that will readily go out on a limb, to do the right thing, or to do that which I believe in. So if you think I'm praise chasing, your wrong.

I think I get the feeling that this difference is that I believe the game is totally about the people. And maybe many of you guys think the game is about the players.

Wrong, wrong and wrong again. Sport is about winning and you don't win listening to deluded supporters on internet forums. Give it up it's getting boring.

Sports not about winning, its a social interaction of combatants, who have a need to compete. The winning & losing is a thing bread of maintaining the interest.

Winning at all costs without the moral code, is something that has developed since the 1970's.

So let me get this straight sport is not about winning but it is since the 70's?

By the way when I said sport I was talking professional sport, focusing on AFL.

By the other way, you sir are an idiot.

I just hope David Hale is a band aid to cover up a massive crack. Ben Holland was bought into the club in the same way. Wallis did it with the Tigers as well. After the football department have been so focused on teh goal of building a well rounded team I find it a funny decision. fair enough if we were in teh top six but fact is we are in teh bottom six.

We have 2 holes on our list. A supporting ruckmen to Jamar and a big bodied forward. Which of these do you think Hale covers?

Hale is in all likelihood a two year bandaid (intentionally).

There also weren't any other alternative bandaids hanging off the tree

Could someone please direct me to the topic where I might find some information regarding progress of the David Hale trade wheeling and dealing?

Just checking...are you in any way an employee of the MFC who has been sent to gauge opinion on the David Hale move? If so, mass consensus is divided about 50/50, but it's still a mass consensus either way. If so, We thank you for your time in listening to what we want, as we are certainly more qualified than those paid to make the tough decisions.

801 posts on this pathetic topic.Hale will be going to Hawks or staying at North. We are keeping pick 12,end of story!!!

Brad Scott would be rolling around on the ground Pi$$ing himself if he got Pick 12 for 27 y.o. (start of next season) washed up Hale.

Pick 12 is a 12 year player like Gysberts, not a hack like Hale who'll be lucky to play 3 more years!

Is pick 11 an 11 year player like someone who got picked at 11 also? Just wondering..

Well think what the FD must think of this thread - "what a bunch of [censored] wankers" or words to that effect

One can only hope so.

This thread reminds me of that Simpsons episode where Lisa is explaining to Homer why a rock cannot keep Tigers away even though there were no Tigers in the rock's vicinity.

Deeluded thinks he's the rock!

I love Melbourne supporters...

Everyone keeps going on about pick 12 going to North for Hale but we are not offering pick 12, We are offering pick 32which I personally think is a good deal. Does the change of pick change any ones mind about the value of this trade????

    GAMEDAY: Rd 16 vs Brisbane

It's Game Day and the Dees are deep in the heart of enemy territory as they take on the Lions in Brisbane under the Friday Night Lights at the Gabba. Will the Demon finally be awakened and the season get back on track or will they meekly be sacrificed like lambs to the slaughter?

    UNBACKABLE by The Oracle

They’re billing the Brisbane Lions as a sleeping giant — the best team outside the top eight —and based on their form this month they’re a definite contender for September AFL action. Which is not exactly the best of news if you happen to be Melbourne, the visiting team this week up at the Gabba.  Even though they are placed ahead of their opponent on the AFL table, and they managed to stave off defeat in their last round victory over North Melbourne, this week’s visitors to the Sunshi

    WILDCARDS by KC from Casey

Casey’s season continued to drift into helplessness on Sunday when they lost another home game by a narrow margin, this time six points, in their Round 13 clash with North Melbourne’s VFL combination. The game was in stunning contrast to their last meeting at the same venue when Casey won the VFL Wildcard Match by 101 points. Back then, their standout players were Brodie Grundy and James Jordon who are starring in the AFL with ladder leaders, the Sydney Swans (it turned out to be their last

    LIFE SUPPORT by Whispering Jack

With Melbourne’s season hanging on a thread, Saturday night’s game against North Melbourne unfolded like a scene in a hospital emergency department.  The patient presented to the ward in a bad way. Doctors and nurses pumped life-saving medication into his body and, in the ensuing half hour, he responded with blood returning to his cheeks as he stirred back to life. After a slight relapse, the nurses pumped further medication into the bloodstream and the prognosis started looking good as the

The Demons almost blew a six goal lead and ultimately hung on to win by three points over the North Melbourne Kangaroos at the MCG and have temporarily jumped back into the Top 8.

GAMEDAY: Rd 15 vs North Melbourne

It's Game Day and it very well could be the last roll of the dice for the Demon's finals aspirations in 2024. A loss to the bottom side would be another embarrassing moment in a cursed year for the Dees whilst a win could be the spark they need to reignite the fire in the belly.
