In these tough economic times, this is a sensational effort.

Other clubs will be very envious. Vlad must now take notice that the MFC is the real deal and our road to recovery is well and truly on track.

Jimma, Schwabby and the Board are to be congratulated unreservedly.

Hopefully a new air of confidence will go through the entire club and be reflected on the field.

Brilliant!

Having a genuine feeling that your club is actually going to survive in its current form (the MELBOURNE football club!), is the absolute best thing that has come out of these sponsorship deals.

Go Dees... For another 150 years at least :)

Believed to be worth 3 million dollars.

The deal was struck from one of our influential members at a Kazakhstan bellydance joint. No Joke. SEN sauce.

Maybe Cameron Schwab's a chip of the old block. Or the late Billy Snedden has had a profound influence on the club. ;)

Well done to those involved.

Totally agree with you Jaded.

Well done by Cameron Schwab & Co. Although just in time is great to have 2 solid three year sponsorships which are unlikely to become stressed in next couple of years AND both have products we all need so we can suppport them directly!!!

Look forward to the MFC building on this foundation during that time!

Now...... onto the footy!

I wonder if PM has anything to say now? or any proof of the "potential" sponser(s) he had lined up. Well done to the current admin/board!

I knew it.

A new brand of toilet paper manufactured in the Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan by members of a collective farm related to and introduced to Cameron Schwab by Borat, our magnificent #27 ticket holder.

Wins nearest to the pin.

Wrong product but correct country of manufacture and what a great idea it was to have those belly dancers grinding away on the collective farm.

If anyone is wondering why this deal is more than the Hankook deal it would have to do with the fact that the back sponsorship is larger and easier to see on TV, and also the reference to 'coaches' sponsorship' probably refers to advertising on the coaches' box with is constantly panned to by 7 and 10 during games.

As an aside, (a rather large aside) given the extra finances we have secured - pointed out by Hannabal above - and our very managable salary lay-out, we might be out of debt in the next three years.

From realfooty.com.au:

Schwab says Melbourne, which is working to eradicate a big debt, expects to make a profit this season.

Heavens, what a turn around. :o

Was Primus tipping in $1 million last year? I thought it was around $1.5 million for the two logos - anybody know?

No, it was $1m.

Makes it all the more impressive, but with Essendon, Collingwood, and Carlton getting so much from their sponsors, it drives ours up aswell.

So... I guess we should thank them...

Maybe not.

much better than many other antivirus programs i have used.

runs quietly in the background, you dont even notice it most of the time.

doesnt take much in the way of system resources to load either, when compared with other software out there.

    THE BLOW by Whispering Jack

Narrm’s finals prospects took a crushing blow after the team’s insipid performance at Optus Stadium against a confident Waaljit Marawar in the first of its Doug Nicholls Round outings for 2024.  I use the description “crushing blow” advisedly because, although the season is not yet at it’s halfway mark, the Demons have now failed abysmally in two of their games against teams currently occupying bottom eight places on the ladder.  The manner in which these losing games were played out w

HALF FULL by KC from Casey

It was a case of the Casey Demons going into a game with a glass half full in their match up against the Brisbane Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday. As the list of injured and unavailable AFL and VFL listed players continues to grow and with Melbourne taking all three emergencies to Perth for the weekend on a “just in case” basis, its little brother was always destined to struggle. Casey was left with only eight AFL listed players from who to select their team but only two - an out-of-form

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs West Coast

It's Game Day and the Demons have returned to the site of their drought breaking Premiership to take on the West Coast Eagles in what could very well be a danger game for Narrm at Optus Stadium. A win and a percentage boost will keep the Dees in top four contention whilst a loss will cast doubt on the Dees flag credentials and bring them back to the pack fighting for a spot in the 8 as we fast approach the halfway point of the season.

    WARNING by William from Waalitj

As a long term resident of Waalitj Marawar, I am moved to warn my fellow Narrm fans that a  danger game awaits. The locals are no longer the easybeats who stumbled, fumbled and bumbled their way to the good fortune of gathering the number one draft pick and a generational player in Harley Reid last year. They are definitely better than they were then.   Young Harley has already proven his worth with some stellar performances for a first year kid playing among men. He’s taken hangers, k

OVER YET? by KC from Casey

The Friday evening rush hour clash of two of the VFL’s 2024 minnows, Carlton and the Casey Demons was excruciatingly painful to watch, even if it was for the most part a close encounter. I suppose that since the game had to produce a result (a tie would have done the game some justice), the four points that went to Casey with the win, were fully justified because they went to the best team. In that respect, my opinion is based on the fact that the Blues were a lopsided combination that had
