Now that the Biz has hung up the boots it will be interesting to see who picks up the #3 at the club...

Its had some quality players wear the #3 and i wonder if out early draft pick will put it on on someone like Rivers, Pettard etc

Id imagine #25 and #33 being left available by the departures of Browney and Pickett respectively would demand as much interest.

Chris Judd

After last night it is obvious that Judd's groin complaint (OP??) has made him a virtual cripple.

I hope we dont get into a bidding war for him. Caveat emptor!

i had a dream last night i talked to chris judd and convinced him to sign a contract with melbourne at massively reduced pay.

was a good dream.

woke up with a hangover though, so i think that probably has something to do with it...

Too right Rhino. Sadly, i think we have seen the best of Judd. We don't need another OP case down at our club. Any club that attempts to pick him up now would be a fool. His asking price would be way too much in the first place, and now he has a serious groin problem.

yeah coz the blokes who wear those numbers are completely and utterly useless and undeserving of them ....:wacko:

Lets give Brock 39, and Jones 56 ...

A case of unnecessary pretence getting in the way of basic reason or logic .

And Classy is right on the numbering of players as a consequence.

No player on our list will change their number during the off-season.

It will go to one of our new boys or our high profile player that we pick up from a trade.

GO DEES!!!

The future at the top: Buckley, Jones, #4 draft pick

Why would Jonesy want to change from Robbie Flowers #?

no azzika, Delicious9 is trying to say that Buckley will wear (#1) Jonesy will wear (#2) and pick#4 will wear (#3)

I'd be happy to see Newton take #3

interesting thought...

if confidence is still an issue with him that might be a boost as well...

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the scorching morning heat to bring you the following observations of Wednesday's preseason training session from Gosch's Paddock. HARVEY WALLBANGER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Absent: Salem, Windsor (word is a foot rash going around), Viney, Bowey and Kentfield Train ons: Roy George, no Culley today. MATCH SIM: Friday 7th February 2025

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator ventured down the freeway to bring you his observations from Friday morning's Match Simulation out at Casey Fields. Rehab: Jake Lever and Charlie Spargo running laps.  Lever was running short distances at a fast click as well as having kick to kick with a trainer. He seems unimpeded. Christian Petracca, Kade Chandler, Shane McAdam and Tom Fullarton doing non-contact kicking and handball drills on the adjacent oval.  All moving freely at pace.  I didn’

Demonland Trackwatchers were out in force as the Demons returned to Gosch's Paddock for preseason training on Wednesday morning. GHOSTWRITER'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS Kozzie a no show. Tommy Sparrow was here last week in civvies and wearing sunnies. He didn’t train. Today he’s training but he’s wearing goggles so he’s likely got an eye injury. There’s a drill where Selwyn literally lies on top of Tracc, a trainer dribbles the ball towards them and Tracc has to g

THAT WAS THE YEAR THAT WAS: 2024

Whichever way you look at it, the Melbourne Football Club’s 2024 season can only be characterized as the year of its fall from grace. Whispering Jack looks back at the season from hell that was. After its 2021 benchmark premiership triumph, the men’s team still managed top four finishes in the next two seasons but straight sets finals losses consigned them to sixth place in both years. The big fall came in 2024 with a collapse into the bottom six and a 14th placing. At Casey, the 2022 VFL p
