  1. A big NO to all of them PS: Tingles, you might want to edit your post: Cameron Wood, Simon Buckley, Jonathan Celgar, Luke Rounds and Kirk Ugle have all been told that they will not be given a new contract in 2013.
  2. Content with the decisions made, but the only thing i question is Who the hell is responsible for deciding to take Byrnes via F.A ?? Probably could have picked him up during the delisted F.A period and scored ourselves a 2nd rounder rather than a 3rd rounder
  3. I hope the coaching staff can fix up our forward structure, i am sick of seeing the handball happy movements that result in turnovers. If there are no targets up forward, i would rather see us kick the ball inside 50 and aim for the line, because at least we have a 50/50 chance of getting the ball, instead of us losing the ball and allowing the opposition to score against us
  4. When MORTON is back please change him for DUNN and please someone tell the coaching staff to not waste sylvia up forward, let him play in the midfield and let him drift forward at times
  5. IN: SYLVIA (if fit), MARIC OUT: MILLER, DUNN i wouldnt drop any of the new boys yet, give them a chance to learn from the mistakes they made this week. i am sure with the strauss incident, he will definately learn from it and make amends for it.
  6. 1. scully 2. trengove 11. carlisle/black 18. vardy 34. Griffiths, if he slides this far 50. patrick PSD. Thorp i dont mind the grimes love, but tbh i cant really see him in our future line up
  7. lol @ carlton and their new slogan, looks like its gonna be another stinker of a season for the blue boys. also HAHA is juddy trying to do the rock's eye brow thing in the pic.
  8. i also reckon pick 34 will find us some value, but i reckon if we wanna pick up liam patrick we might have to use pick 34 on him, i'm a bit weary the hawks will go after him at pick 40.
  9. Surely he did the vis. com exam, them other subjects are BORING, but i cant wait for wattsy to tear it up next season BRING ON SEASON 2010! WATTS SCULLY TRENGOVE
  10. i reckon James Craig is worth a look, i think he offers a lot with his leap and could probably play up back or forward. You dont need the "traditional" ruckmen to ruck when the new "versatile" ruckmen like clark and ryder have proven they are just as good.
  11. i reckon these boys will stand up next year Grimes, Morton, Jurrah, Petterd, and my smoky is Strauss. I'm also a big fan of maric, but i reckon we will see patches of what he can offer, i reckon his break out year will be in 2011.
  12. my picks for 1 and 2 are 1. scully 2. trengove I reckon all this hype about who will go no.1 in the draft is just a puff of smoke, so the draft can maintain its "live" tag without the general public knowing who will be the no.1 pick.
  13. agreed, without injuries j smith is a gun, just watch the game against the hawks in one of the 07 finals, BOG.
  14. i think rischetelli needs some assurance that he wont lose any eyes, then CFC can say bye to fev.
  15. martin, warnock, or frawley
  16. i appreciate all the inside info you provide us on the CFC and your thoughts, but you are smart enough to determine what kind of information is acceptable/unacceptable on this forum.
  17. yeh, hopefully we can remove the the poorer players on our list to some other clubs and with the whole Andrejs Everitt issue, i hope we dont pick him up. I don't really rate him, and find it hard to fit him in our future team if he was to come to us. Hopefully we are stalling negotiations between clubs, so we can land a big fish in the PSD.
  18. don't think we will go after him, but i could definately see a trade with him to the dons for leroy jetta. i know mckinley was a massive bombers fan and the eagles have their small forwrd issue. i reckon our current developing forwards have what it takes, but like everyone else says, the only thing missing is probably another big body.
  19. Congrats to jack for having a great season, and i hope the club finds a solution for his injury issues. Even though i wanna see grimes go into the midfield, i reckon it may be better for him to play on the half back line. the main reason i want him in the back line is his defensive abilty. He reads the play really well and provides good drive off half back. James strauss will probably take grimes position after grimes makes a move to the midfield, but does anyone know about his defensive capabilties?
  20. can't go past trengove now, his recent performances lately have surely sewn him up for pick 2. can't wait to see scully and trengove next year. THANK YOU DEAN BAILY!

    Pick 11

if you reckon 11 is too high for temel, do you reckon he will last til 18?
  23. According to the calder cannons website, he was born on the 12.05.1991 http://www.sportingpulse.com/club_info.cgi...sectionID=55586 i have also jumped on his bandwagon for pick 11. if i was choosing our 4 picks in the top 20, it would be: 1. scully 2. morabito, but cannot see it happening, so it'll probs be trengove, which i will still be happy with 11. temel, though this is based on the hype 18. best available, hopefully there is a highly rated slider i have faith in BP and his recruiting team with who they decide to select and will be happy either way.
  24. definately no to both players, especially lovett. We do not need these 2, although it would be nice to see alwyn and aaron together in the same team at the dees, but i can't see it happening. Adding these players would make our team look 'soft', because in order to win you need to get the ball, and we need players who can win the contested ball.
