You people are unbelievable! Judd on reputation....? Woulda thought that would have got him into the side in '05 when he dominated the year after winning the Brownlow. Reputation is often not good for these sort of awards. And i don't think win/loss ratio should come into who captain is. Harley plays in a better side. Some could argue Judd's role has been much tougher and he has done a better than Harley. For what it's worth, i don't think they should do captain/vice-captain for for this. It really doesn't matter too much and i think the people that know the most about what each captain does is the people involved in the club. Not 6 (however many) tossers with their heads up their arses!

Heard around the traps that Holland's injury came from a fall and not a result of any sort of contact from Carroll. However, Carroll's action throughout the day will be enough for the dees to terminate his contract and get rid of him. My tip is he won't be there next year.

Holland and Carroll are good mates though. Often seen together. Not defending Carroll's actions at all. Obviously been going pretty strong Sunday and Monday and it all took its toll. I do wonder how much "medical treatment" was needed though.

Pretty much. Have you seen the bloke play? To have him in your Round 1 side is boarderline insanity. There's nothing that can excuse that. Other selections all year; Bode, Frawley. The side lacks a serious, competitive gameplan. I'm not jumping on this either because it's been written in the paper the last few days. It's been going all year. He's in charge of a crap side and he has plenty to do with it. Other 37 candidates.....i don't care. You pick 37 of the current senior or assistant coaches and i'll run with them. I would prefer a rash decision that ended with Voss being in charge of the Dees than a long process that results in DB. What don't you understand about that?

I would have preferred a rash decision that got Voss to the dees than a long selection process that ended up in Bailey. I really wonder about that bloke. Anyone that select Weetra for the opening round, let alone any game, of the season has got to have some serious issues. That along with many other selctions along the way and his game stlye is why i would prefer about 37 other people to be in charge of the dees right now.

Holland's inclusion in the best and Carrol being number 1 might have something to do with the roles they played. Two obvious non-ruckmen having to ruck the whole day. Pettard was good but lets not get carried away, he wasn't THAT great. And Maric actually had a pretty ordinary first half while his second was as good as anyones.

I don't reckon Yze will play for Melbourne or Sandy.

You realise Bode is a left-footer? Perhaps it could have been Dean or Monaghan who played a bit across half back but are right footers.

You for real? He spent the entire second half (except for the first 2 minutes) on the bench. And plenty of time on the pine in the first half due to a concussion. Were you actually there or your is job just to pump him up despite the truth?

Don't read too much into who is starting on/off the ground. The 4 players that get dropped from that side are almost all certain to come from players "named" in the starting 18. The 8 players on the bench are certain starters which means Spencer, Tom Mac are still a good chance to not get a game.

He was a clear best on in his second last game and last week he only had a couple kicked on him by a much bigger body in Ackland, he still played ok. I think he deserves some credit as he often gives away alot of height and weight to his opposition. And perhaps he's giving him one last chance. He is still contracted for next year (i think) don't forget......
