Well I hope we have a good win because work for me today was awful.

Short staffed, had the newbies on, nothing flowed & I left late.

I do not need any more stress tonight

So you're coming to a Dees game to de-stress?

Over confident .

Sorry to hear mate. That's rough.

Can't bloody wait for this! Love a 3.15 game in 2026, but pretty happy for a big Friday night one too.

Let's go, Dees!

I’m actually a bit nervous about the game tonight. Don’t know why as I only had the two coffees today and they were both early. Let’s hope the nerves are unfounded and we build up an early buffer and then keep them at arms reach for the rest of the night. 🤞

Agree, it would be great to watch the match in a relaxed fashion, knowing a win was a certainty.

Ghosty....... that was sublime. Well said. Impeccable timing. All the attributes of a true artiste

Or portoloos

I loved the way they used the Bont in last nights game in the first half, where he contested the centre bounce then dropped back to half back and rebounded from there. It suits a strong running midfielder such as langford or culley, and helps your other runners to rebound as well. Would be good to try it out against a lesser side like richmond.

Hopefully a good start and late enjoyable finish.

I'm hoping Max and and Forwards are too Big and too much for the Tiges Young Uns tonight. I still took the line so I'm 6 goals up. I'm Calm at the minute. At Westall, MCG here we come.

At the G for the first time this year. Let’s [censored] have a big win tonight boys!

Kozzie to light it up against a plodder midfield.

Surely you can’t be serious?

Jealous of everyone that will be there tonight, next week will be my first game for the year. Hoping to get down to Melbourne for a couple of games in the 2nd half of the season.

Is it true that Short is a last minute out for personal reasons? If so, we have no excuse not to destroy them!

It's Game Day on Friday night. ANZAC Eve. The big stage at the ‘G. The Demons return to the spotlight for one of our most significant nights on the football calendar, taking on the Tigers in a clash that always carries extra weight given the gravity of occasion of the commemoration of the ANZAC Spirit. Under the lights, in front of a packed house, this is where moments are made. Can the Dees rise to the occasion and deliver on the big stage, or will Richmond spoil the night? All the build-up, discussion, and in-game reactions here. Go Dees.

Round 7 is here, with the ANZAC commemoration games taking centre stage. Who are you tipping this week, and which results would be most favourable for the Demons?

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.

Before Sunday, the last time the Brisbane Lions had walked onto the turf of the Melbourne Cricket Ground, they celebrated the pinnacle of the sport - an AFL premiership secured in emphatic fashion for the second consecutive year.

From the outset, the Casey Demons lacked any spring in their steps. They were out-hustled and out-bustled and finally outplayed by the Brisbane Lions by 38 points on their home turf in perfect conditions at Casey Fields.
