As a chillie lover, it's fun in the same way that eating a flaming spicy meal is fun.

Painful at the time but I just can't help myself.

You remind me of my son…

Thanks JTR

I edited my rely.

Yes I was going through the "buy tickets" on the match day section which was taking me to Ticketek. As you kindly said I had to go the three dots to AFL membership.

Such joy but hopefully worth the reward. Buying Test match tickets in India was simpler

Glad you got it sorted mate 🙂

Essendon have showed a fair bit in recent weeks and I think the loss to them won't be as harshly judged later in the year. I actually think they'll beat Collingwood tomorrow.

Richmond however are a significantly poorer side with very few senior players. A loss to them will be incredibly deflating.

Whilst I agree, the lingering MFCSS tells me they weren't too bad in parts last week, but they kicked themselves out of it in the first half and never recovered.
Lynch back may help with that, and if he has his good boots on rather than the Carlton game boots he could create some headaches

[censored] MFCSS 😫

Thanks! Turns out it was a Ticketek error.

Honestly, if you were a malicious person and wanted to create the worst, most frustrating ticketing system possible, you couldn't do a better job than the duopoly. It's stunningly bad. And you pay for the privilege of their dripping incompetence.

I always think ticketek is the worst possible way to design a system until the tennis rolls around and I remember ticketmaster exists...

Some of your taxes go towards helping children get through cancer.

All of the $3.90 you give to Ticketek goes to what? Some consultant suggesting "What if before they confirmed the ticket purchase we asked if they wanted to take out a wine subscription, join a pyramid scheme, get involved in a time-share syndicate or purchase a garden gnome in team colours? And then we timed them out if they took too long?"

They dont unfortunately. 😆

Commonwealth doesn't need your taxes for revenue. It needs your taxes so the currency has value.

Go redlegs. 😆

I'd love to see a blistering start. Win our first quarter of the year. Then turn the screws tighter.

Richmond are yet to win a first quarter as well as it turns out....

It’s gameday baby. Pumped for the big ANZAC Eve clash at the G.

I’ll be there in GA with the riff raff.

Go Dees!

Love to see JVR and/or Jeffo kick a bag tonight with some strong pack marks from the both of them.

Checkers I think will light it up tonight!

I hope so! He deserves it since he declared there aren’t as many of us (as compared to Collingwood) but we “damn sure are loud.”

Love you, Checkers!

Simply put we have to win . Full stop,

We should have beaten essendum

We lost , danger danger will robinson

If we won two of the next 4. 6 out of 12.

Fantastic way to setup the rest of the year. But we need to win Go deed

Doing the next day replay of a close win is way more fun than doing the next day replay of the spicy meal though!

That’s how I feel paying tax

You can always move to Burkina Faso to try the low-tax lifestyle. But I bet even there Tiketek will find a way to gouge you.

Not normally nervous pre-match ...

Define “Fun”

Almost going into cardiac arrest isn’t what I call fun! 😅

You’re doomed if you’re doing the long walk with the flame tonight then! 🤠

It's Game Day on Friday night. ANZAC Eve. The big stage at the ‘G. Under the lights, in front of a packed house, this is where moments are made. Can the Dees rise to the occasion and deliver on the big stage, or will Richmond spoil the night? Round 7 is here, with the ANZAC commemoration games taking centre stage. Who are you tipping this week, and which results would be most favourable for the Demons?

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.

From the outset, the Casey Demons lacked any spring in their steps. They were out-hustled and out-bustled and finally outplayed by the Brisbane Lions by 38 points on their home turf in perfect conditions at Casey Fields.
