Georgiades with the wooden hands. don;t think he's marked a ball all day

It's frustrating watching tracs kicks hit a target & even his handballs & his kicking multiple goals. He cannot miss.

Again I ask, what the hell was mark Williams doing last year as our kicking coach?

Mind you I'm sure playing on 27 degree days would make you feel good to

I remember saying something to him about ball drop and leg extention and suggested an alternative at Slithera City a year ago, he listened looked at me and said Nar and shuffled away. Now thats fine, BUT I had my Ex PhysEd teachers hat on and using my knowledge gained from my Biomechanics and training I thought my theories sound. Anyway just a note

I saw an article preseason that mentioned that Tracc had been working with a kicking coach to improve his accuracy! His kicking coach probably gave him similar advice. At the time when I read the report I thought just WTF were we doing under Goodwin at times? Traccโ€™s inaccurate goal kicking was just so frustrating at the Dees and a deficiency that was so obviously rectifiable for a player with his talent and make him the complete player.

You know early with the good ones.

I remember the early chatter about Watson missing shots on goal, having a heap of behinds, not converting blah blah blah

That was never going to be permanent & the stat lines were always going to shift. Didnโ€™t it take Lewis Jetta until like his 21st attempt at goal before finally kicking his first? Became a beautiful finisher in the end.

Doesnโ€™t take the good ones long at all to find their feet in the big league.

Caroline Wilson reporting that Collingwood players say that the lad from Carlton told them he'd been drinking. Apologies if someone else has already posted this.

Talked up as flag favourites by the media, the Hawks barely beat Port at home

On ch503 on foxtel you can watch the hawks v port game with mandarin commentary

I just found the same thing clicking between channels. I thought I must have changed a setting or the dog had sat on the remote. Is this a regular thing ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

It makes me irrationally angry the way they bang on about Watson being the wizard. Get your own nickname mini mouse. There is only one true wizard.

I much prefer the mandarin commentary. Makes so much more sense than David โ€œheโ€™s the best player in the comp right nowโ€ King and Jason โ€˜tell us something we donโ€™t knowโ€™ Dunstall.

How do you feel about Turner being called "Disco" (Roach) and Langford being called "Bison" (Marsh)?

As you and others would be fully aware, Redleg, Hawthorn would clear out their forward line so that Hudson was one-out

Pagan's paddock style but 2 decades earlier. They would also flood the midfield which led to the Centre Diamond/Square being introduced

Fairly sure we double teamed Huddo in that 1972 encounter where he had kicked 8 goals by half time

Biffin & Bourke? Anyway, Hudson did an ACL in a pack mark situation

I was there but the thing I also remember about that day was Phil Rhodan's enormous drop kicks from full back, playing in the 2nds

Fine with it ๐Ÿ‘

Right. It's OK if we do it, but not if others do it. Gotcha.

โ€œIrrationally angryโ€

The clue was literally in the first sentence.

What the hell did the Crows do over the offseason? No depth outside of Dawson. No chance to win the flag this yaer until they recruit another superstar in the midfield, or someone internal takes a huge leap

The point is that neither Turner nor Langford are really annoying and neither have smoke blown up their tiny backside every week by a queue of nuffy commentators!

Watson, with the added adjustment for playing for Hawthorn, is the most annoying player in the top-50 for goals per game.

Wait... correction... top 47. Stringer and Dangerfield are equal 48th.

I know, I too am shocked at Toby Greene's sudden drop in scoring.

Now... be careful here, he wanted to stay... who let who down??

Clarry let himself down... He was given so many chances by the Club

Has it been mentioned that ANB is acting Crows captain tonight?

Thanks, I hadn't watched a Crows game where it had been mentioned before.

I miss him, his durability and his leadership.

may as well be playing rugby with the amount of throws in this game

there was 3-4 in that passage of play alone

It has to be an AFL directive as I refuse to believe that all the umpires have en masse, decided to not penalise blatant throws

Might happen 15-20 times per game sometimes. And 100's of times for each round of football

Sure, it keeps the game moving but a throw is a throw

Round 7 is here, with the ANZAC commemoration games taking centre stage. Who are you tipping this week, and which results would be most favourable for the Demons?

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competitionโ€™s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.
