And the punches in the gut keep on coming…

[censored] the AFL

You knew this would happen.

I still fondly recall the Jvr incident and all the support here that night.

I think there were seriously over two hundred Demonlanders lurking here.

I sat down listening to some posts from the expert witnesses and their outrageous qualifications and computer modeling.

It was one for the ages and my selection of cheeses and fine wines made it for a most memorable moment.

The deliberations took hours and hours. I swear those at the tribunal were going through the all you could eat buffet.

But it was great to see so many Demonlanders with a cornucopia of funny names Id never heard of.

Alas after quaffing so much Penfolds I can't even recall if he was acquitted but it was the camaraderie that made it all so special. And of course the vino.

Give em hell Maysie.

Perhaps one last hurrah by running through the tribunal judges with an elbow tucked in just right so that it is the perfect footy act.

And see how well they can then hold down there roast beef and prawn salads.

And if the worst should transpire and the three weeks stands you can always just tell them you've retired effective immediately just to take the glee out of their sales.

And then sign up next year.

Never forget that they work for the AFL and are all as crooked as hell.

More so than those me maggots masquerading as umpires these days.

Lower than cockroaches and probably just as dirty.

There i actually feel a little better.

Hang on.

Did I memtion that umpires are only put there because society understands they are not fit for any other role.

And that they make up the rules as they go along.

Yep now I feel better. Maybe some more Penfolds. This is what they do to me.

Thank you.

Go Maysie.

Well the club threw everything at it at least. Jack Rush is a former Supreme Court Judge and was a Saints Board Member as well as being Judge Advocate General. Nobody more qualified.

We should take it to court. How the [censored] can we get one of our best players taken out and end his career by a thug and we have somebody going for the footy suspended for going after the footy

They were never altering the penalty.

Meanwhile other miscreants laugh.

The blatant corruption is astonishing

But they are a law unto themselves and prefer to make it up as they go along. For their ideal outcomes

The big one for me was Cripps. For decades that thug act saw the perpetrator rubbed out as a matter of course

Then, suddenly there was a loophole? What loophole? Total BS

And then May holds his ground and gets 3? It was an accident

Where as the Cripps & Maynard incidents were deliberate acts

Just now, red and blue forever said:

at some point this bs just becomes funny.

Thinking we got a ways to go yet ( well for me )

It's a joke for sure

“Nothing’s coming up Milhouse”

I still haven’t gotten over the Trengove suspension all those years ago. This might take a while too…disgusting decision.

Yep

And bonus points Bb for sneaking in the words miscreants.

Or in this case Miscresaints.

Well done.

Can anyone explain to me why a former Supreme Court Judge would lower their standards to appear at the monkey circus that is the AFL tribunal?

It’s honestly part of the problem. People like this create the appearance of legitimacy. The tribunal doesn’t deserve to be taken seriously.

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
