  1. Crows did it for Jaryd tonight. An extraordinary effort after a challenging week for them.
  2. I hope that Holland is okay and that people are kind, especially after the latest update from the media explaining the situation. Mental Health in the AFL is [censored] and has been for a long time. How many more warnings do we need. No more ‘wake up calls’ and more action please
  3. [censored] WAKE UP DEMONS
  4. We are weak as [censored] and deserve to lose
  5. It’s our away game this year so they should be in the hill/old scoreboard side of Adelaide oval.
  6. I had no idea that this was the case. Thanks DG
  7. Duke signed an extension in 2024 that takes him through to the end of 2028
  8. My apologies I just found that Lindsay and Matthew’s are probably ooc too, both at the end of their draft deals. I would be mortified if X left due to my recent purchase of a #5 guernsey.
  9. Ha I was curious and looking into this about 6 hours ago. We don’t have many players ooc at end of ‘27: Gawn Howes Mihochek Petty Rivers I wouldn’t be too concerned about Max or Checkers. Howes is still finding his way but may be an easy, cheap option for Tassie. I can’t really see Petts moving to Tassie, would go to SA is he does go. Riv if he leaves would go to WA. The only other players that could leave us is those on one year deals and such, which is probably not a concern anyway.
  10. They’ve gone to a whole new level this year. Hopefully this eventuates in an increase in members and crowd attendance to support the boys and club.
  11. Petty is a crucial utility for the team, who fights hard and can clunk important marks like he did yesterday. He stays in for the foreseeable future in my opinion.
  12. Mitch Cleary just said on Agenda Setters that Riv will be back in the team this week.
  13. I bought one yesterday, I may be in the minority who like it. Something different and good revenue for our club which needs it. However it doesn't worry me what guernsey we wear, we have to perform and win given our mixed track record at gather round (1-2 all time, 0-2 against Essington, I am 0-1 personally after last year hoping to make it 1-1 in 10 days time.)
  14. Ah [censored] I just realised I did that, thanks for the heads up
  15. Club has a live video on Instagram. The blurry screenshot reads ‘You voted, it’s back’ and to no one’s surprise the silver won.
  16. Good on him. Hope he is treated with respect and decency like all people deserve (unfortunately online this won't be the case.)
  17. I reckon we should have a bit of a war chest (Petracca 1.2M, Oliver about 600-700k, May about 600-700k) plus veteran players retiring at years end (TMac, Milkshake, Campbell, McAdam), less assumed new contracts and probably pay increases to Fritta, Chin, Disco, Langford, maybe X. Gus's contract counts for 50% in the cap next year (circa 400-500k.) Long story short, we should have enough to get a big name star, such as Bailey. We'd have less than the Filth at around 2 mil but we aren't in a horrible position (maybe 1-1.5mil)
  18. I think the defensive/tagger role works well for Kolt because of his strong work ethic and athleticism. This role may not mean he is a world-beater, like what some people think he should be, but he can have a defined role that is important to the team and hurts our opposition. The Messiah had to go into the forward line to have an impact for the saints, only 18 touches (yet 3 goals) Serong had only 16 touches, last year he averaged 27. We can see that better midfields (like Freo's) are able to adapt to this and have their other guns fire (Brayshaw 39 touches, Bolton, 32 touches) But against other teams more around our skill level it gives us an advantage (St Kilda victory as an example.) A masterstroke from King that gives a promising young player a defined role to improve his football craft and hopefully become a Neal-Bullen style player who we so desperately missed last year.
  19. We have a higher and better chance of getting one of the baileys
  20. As Paul Roos used to say you can't win games of footy if you don't tackle. He can tackle, and well.
  21. I totally love Jack Riewoldt for his astute, unbiased and very insightful commentary. A real feather in his cap
  22. I never want to wish injuries to players but I wouldn’t hate if Voss did an ACL
  23. Genuinely Gawn and Disco v Freo
  24. Voss is a whiny little [censored]
  25. They should be on 70 rn
