I would look at him, but to be perfectly honest I would get some weight off him and put him on a flank, to get him focused. I reckon he's been thrown in the deep end.

Blonde hair, white headband. It doesn’t get more cat than that.

You’ll never convince a country boy to come to Melbourne when Geelong is an option.

Would like to hear about what’s happening behind the scenes, I think West Coast would be quietly keen to get rid of the circus and focus on rebuilding

he has all the elements including mongrel.

he's a second year player getting tagged every week. his frustration is getting the better of him.

west coast are a rabble. at the right club with some senior players around him he'll develop into a beast

if's he's keen on Geelong then that's where he'll end up. and he'll be excellent for them. Sigh

Why not, get in the hock for another 15 years.

Petracca, Oliver, Viney, Caulfield..Let’s do it.

Must be some credit card.

I’ll throw a Barbie in for their Ken.

We’ve got Casey Fields, isn’t there a dairy farm out there? Besides Picket Fence lives out there. Country boy at heart can show him the vipers.

Not sure about H R….

He could be an absolute star in a good side, or he could be an absolute bust. West Coast are so ordinary, that it’s hard to tell at the moment

The last time i saw him take a game on, was against us last year. He single-handedly obliterated our midfield, but has he done much since?

He was the best Junior I had seen, but that was playing against other boys his age.

He has played some great footy in his first year in the AFL, but now seems to be just a player and I am unsure if he is treading water until he changes clubs.

He seems to have some issues and can be put off his game easily, but again is he simply not trying as he is unhappy.

I think he could be a bust at $2m a year with all the pressure or he could get back to his best, who knows.

I don’t see us getting him anyway, so will watch from afar.

We need a bit more than just one Harley Reid and hopefully we can add some more talent and improve our development of younger players which I think has regressed.

It would be helpful if we could add some mentally strong players who don’t panic when kicking for goal.

Kozzie in a direct swap for Jackson. Oliver, JVR ,FRitsch (whatever you can get for them ,thou not much) plus a Future 1 st rd pick for Harley. ................ not going to happens and besides he does not want to play for a bunch of losers.

NOTE:- Jackson is on good coin , Kozzie will be putting his hand out for a big pay rise soon.

I totally understand your moniker now!

The kids a winner

Is he?

Came back from mid preseason break overweight, ruining his preseason.

Remains overweight and is a total head case that other teams are winding up for fun.

Doesn't sound much like a winner to me.

Absolutely would depend on the cost.

And a very deep psychology assessment.

Just out of idle curiosity...which way do you lean in preference?? That's he's relatively sound/normal.... or a manic football monster ??

Asking for a friend

Will make a mockery of the draft system and what its objective was intended for, if he ends up at the cats or a top 4 club it reinforces that the system allows bottom clubs to be raided , we should target him & give him Oliver, need to make the break for both player & club & move on!

That one game is what people are basing his entire future capability around. Had he not had that, he would definitely be in bust territory. I doubt many would put $2M in front of him - that is just media hype.

Seriously though, how does Geelong pay for him in the cap?

Farms and Cotton Shares would be a great start, but of course they are outside the cap.

Looks to be like JHF when at the Roos can’t wait to get the hell out of his current club.

Not a chance. They have nothing to offer. WC will want players and picks.

Tigers would be a good fit or Bombers and both have the picks

I think Geelong get some very handy (in some cases unfair) advantages simply unavailable to any other Victorian team. But they also have a huge number of ANB types. Medium-level talent who bust a gut, do the team thing every week and don't put too much pressure on the cap.

Trying to avoid the hype, which is playing in both directions about Reid.

I wince every time I start contemplating Reid because at some point I was reminded of Colin Sylvia and now I can't eliminate that thought.

Personally I'm reluctant for the club to get too involved in the Reid story because it is one where everyone has ceased being rational. Any given person could be perfectly correct in their assessments but it is unlikely they reached them based on a full view of the real situation.

If we can't get him I hope the kid stays at WC. The longer they suck however that harder it is to see that happening.

For all on our list??

Simple, they don't.

Will find outside 'contibutors' to get him.

They do it every time, even their coach is on an external honeypot
