They should send a big box to AMW as he has a bit of time to build the Death Star or the Millennium falcon…

Is it really a coincidence that we have both Harvey Langford and Lego onboard this year?

No.

Apart from the team at the club who rightfully deserve the accolades, I wonder if Hamish's profile with the club helped on this?

Will Max be featuring on Legomasters this year?

Btw: A big shout out to Hamish who has done a lot work with some sick kids in a very low key way. Top effort.

I just want to be able to buy a 1/5 scale Maxy Gawn LEGO kit!

And an entire list worth of Demons Minifigs…..

None of those I suspect

Still a great get imo

yeah, agreed. Also potential for a deeper involvement at some point too I guess.

Surely this initiative  would present excellent cost-saving opportunities for our new Admin centre at Caulfield...

As a Lego Star Wars fiend, and the recent inheritor of a very large technics collection (cranes and industrial vehicles), this news has absolutely made my day, probably this year!

Lego and the Dees have been on an equal footing in my brain, which I know is almost unforgivable in this space, but they have been compartmentalised to be fair. Now I have legitimacy to be as emotionally fulfilled as the moment attending the 2021 GF, well maybe slightly less ... but nonetheless, they can now reside equally without favour and people can roll their eyes as much as they want when I segue from the Dees to Lego and back to the Dees ad nauseum.

Huge signing, and massive potential in attracting kids to the Dees, as some have pointed out.

This must surely be one of the largest international sponsors in the AFL.

Massive acquisition will be incredibly important for increasing membership and attendance for the young kids.

As a financially crippled Lego fan (I have at least 100+ unopened boxes stashed in cupboards, under beds, piled in my study etc, not to mention what is actually built all over the place), this is great!! I loosely partnered with Lego HQ at some point, and I can tell you the hoops and hurdles that must have gone through to get this done would have been significant.

Lego is a closely held, still family-owned company who is very conservative with who it partners with, communications, and messaging etc. So excellent work all round!!

Heard the club has been toying with the idea of this sponsorship for a while.

You trying to get blocked?

Very fun partnership. Iga Swiatek was recently sponsored by Lego too and seemed to have a lot of fun during the more corporate photo days.

Can’t wait to see what they have in store with the club! Not a big figure collector, but I did buy the Nintendo Entertainment System LEGO set day 1 because it was cool, but imagine an MCG set? Instant pre order

Just another brick in the wall.

What fun! Well done, MFC - and LEGO!

I just hope they're not left lying around on the change room floor...

  • CASEY: UWS Giants

The Casey Demons took on an undefeated UWS Giants outfit at their own home ground on a beautiful autumn day but found themselves completely out of their depth going down by 53 points against a well-drilled and fair superior combination. Despite having 15 AFL listed players at their disposal - far more than in their earlier matches this season - the Demons were never really in the game and suffered their second defeat in a row after their bright start to the season when they drew with the Kangaroos, beat the Suns and matched the Cats for most of the day on their own dung heap at Corio Bay. The Giants were a different proposition altogether. They had a very slight wind advantage in the opening quarter but were too quick off the mark for the Demons, tearing the game apart by the half way mark of the term when they kicked the first five goals with clean and direct football.

It’s Game Day, and the Demons return to the MCG wounded, undermanned and desperate. Still searching for their first win of the season, Melbourne faces a daunting task against the Fremantle Dockers. With key pillars missing at both ends of the ground, the Dees must find a way to rise above the adversity and ignite their season before it slips way beyond reach. Will today be the spark that turns it all around, or are we staring down the barrel of a 0–6 start?
