Take that all you revolting mud raking, rumour mongering idiotic journalists. ย Now go bother some other club.

Not just the media. Throw in the absolute morons on here who will have to back track a million miles an hour now. 227 pages of absolute dross. He was never going anywhere.ย  Absolute champ.

How's Sam McCluess feeling? He's two from two. [censored].ย

This saga is not over, but I am so happy to see him commit to the club. Real change is still needed, but it'll be worth it with Trac as a part of this club.

our choice would probably be

- get done over and accept an unders deal

or

- no deal and keep an unhappy probably disruptive camper and have to go through the same process the next year

ย

The get deal done for unders is the most likely scenario IMO.ย

Frankly, would prefer he was gone. Prima Donna. Going to need some strong leadership from Max, Viney and Jake, but I wonder how much damage he's done to himself internally and with the playing group.

Iโ€™m not normally a conspiracy theory kind of guy but Iโ€™m pretty confident Trac, @Demonlandย and @binmanย orchestrated this whole charade for extra clicks.ย

Can you imagine the increase in google ad revenue from Demonland?

Always follow the money.ย

ย

Whilst Iโ€™m always glad a player of his kind wants to stay we still need a change.

ย

we need a change in Pert and Roffey

We need a change in coach or game plan.

ย

We need a change in how we support the boys. Get down to the games, make some damn noise!

ย

Now to get Kozzy to want to stay and be a demon for a few more years! (Although I hope until the end of his career)

Far out, some of you are pathetic. He doesnโ€™t speak, you go after him, he does speak, oh thatโ€™s not good enough. Things needed to change and hopefully things are in motion.ย
Iโ€™m glad heโ€™s rattled a few cages. A lot of the stuff in the media could be full of [censored]. I mean how many times are they wrong. Hereโ€™s a prime example

Problem is McLure muck rakes but doesn't say anything concrete so he cant be called out because he never confirms anything and has an easy way out, he is an award winning journalist who had his award rescindedย

There is something for sure in what you're saying Bing.

This is but a chapter ...in a longer book

Now to win the flag next year.

  • PREVIEW: Hawthorn

Hawthorn and Melbourne. Two teams with impressive form from last week but with seasons that are travelling on different trajectories meet in Saturdayโ€™s twilight game for what could well be the most intriguing contest of the AFLโ€™s penultimate round. Sadly, the game has been relegated to that unappealing time slot in the weekend when Melburnians are typically preoccupied with activities other than football. It falls between the morning's shopping, afternoon sport and recreation, and Saturday night fever. A time usually reserved for relatively insignificant events but this one is not a nothingburger for either of the clubs or their fans.

  • REPORT: Western Bulldogs

The next coach of the Melbourne Football Club faces the challenge of teaching his players how to win games against all comers. At times during this tumultuous season, that task has seemed daunting, made more so in light of the surprise news last week of the sacking of premiership coach Simon Goodwin. However, there were also some positive signs from yesterdayโ€™s match against the Western Bulldogs that the challenge may not be as difficult as one might think. The two sides presented a genuine football spectacle, featuring pulsating competitive play with eight lead changes throughout the afternoon, in a display befitting a finals match. The result could have gone either way and in the end, it came down to which team could produce the most desperate of acts to provide a winning result. It was the Bulldogs who had their season on the line that won out by a six point margin that fitted the game and the effort of both sides.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

The rain had been falling heavily in south east Queensland when the match began at Springfield, west of Brisbane. The teams exchanged early goals and then the Casey Demons proceeded like a house on fire in the penultimate game of the VFL season against a strong opponent in the Brisbane Lions. Sparked by strong play around the ground by seasoned players in Charlie Spargo and Jack Billings, a strong effort from Bailey Laurie and promising work from youngsters in Kynan Brown andย  Koltyn Tholstrup, the Demons with multiple goal kickers firing, raced to a 27 point lead late in the opening stanza. A highlight was a wonderful goal from Laurie who brilliantly sidestepped two opponents and kicked beautifully from 45 metres out.
