Wonderfully wonderful

Great news about young Windsor.

Hope he owns that flank for years.

A great emerging talent.

Great news, we need more like him.

Congratulations Caleb Windsor and MFC this is great news indeed Caleb is off to a flyer, looking forward to watching grow and become a genuine star of the game.

We have young Brown.

I like the cut of Kolts job( whatever that means).

McVee

Jvr

Turner

And I know people have been critical of AMW but I think he will end up being a very good midfielder for us one day.

Yep a few more will do nicely.

Another Strong mid and fwd.

If only LJ had stayed loyal, oh well I guess if he stayed we wouldn't have Caleb today.😁

❤️ 💙 Best debut season at Melbourne since David Schwartz IMHO. Not afraid to go and get his own ball. Will get stronger and the sky is the limit. Great recruitment and very pleased he has committed to the club.

In a year or 2 I can see him getting a run in the midfield. The midfield is currently a bit 'one paced' and he will offer outside run and skill. A bit like Sam Walsh perhaps?

Brilliant news

People on social media should be ashamed of themselves with some of the comments being made about Petty. Absolutely shameful garbage that I would expect from Pies fans not Dees fans.

While Jacko served us well for three years before departing, we missed our opportunity to pick Hayden Young  who was being considered  by Melbourne for our first round pick. He is a brilliant player and being a Victorian, we would have had him  for 14 years. One of the best kicks I have seen in the AFL. So strong, penetrating and accurate. Really pleased about Caleb, he certainly is a star of the future. Now we have get Langers to sign up.

Amid the gloom of the season that was, there is a true glimmer of light, hope and expectation.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say that Windsor will be a better player than Jackson.

I know they’re very different, but Windsor has the endurance of a wingman, the speed of a goal sneak and the ability to win the contested ball of an inside mid. That is an actual unicorn!

And he is very good at goal kicking both set shot, dribble and in between.

Great news, the young man is a jet

Freakish skill. Saw him doing some ridiculous skill/trick kicks in his personal warm up time on the weekend. Has the ball on a string

Brilliant news.

A future captain and AA winger.  Possibly a Charlie.

Four years is a big commitment

Petty signs a three year deal and disco a two year deal.

Great vote of confidence in the club, goody and the direction we're going.

What odds Harley Reid signs a four year extension at the Eagles?

Top work Tom Lamb.

  • GAMEDAY: Richmond

It's Game Day on Friday night. ANZAC Eve. The big stage at the ‘G. The Demons return to the spotlight for one of our most significant nights on the football calendar, taking on the Tigers in a clash that always carries extra weight given the gravity of occasion of the commemoration of the ANZAC Spirit. Under the lights, in front of a packed house, this is where moments are made. Can the Dees rise to the occasion and deliver on the big stage, or will Richmond spoil the night? All the build-up, discussion, and in-game reactions here. Go Dees.

  • NON-MFC: Round 7

Round 7 is here, with the ANZAC commemoration games taking centre stage. Who are you tipping this week, and which results would be most favourable for the Demons?

  • PREVIEW: Richmond

Who would have imagined, when the season kicked off early last month, that Melbourne would emerge from the opening six weeks with wins over both Queensland powerhouses? At the time, Gold Coast and Brisbane were the competition’s early pace-setters, the flavours of the month, and the prospect of the Demons toppling both within the course of a fortnight seemed remote. Yet here they are, banking those scalps alongside home victories over two traditional Victorian rivals and building a quietly impressive resume.

  • PREGAME: Richmond

The Dees hit the big Friday night stage for the first and only time this season when they take on the Tigers under lights on ANZAC Eve at the G. Who comes in and who goes out?

  • REPORT: Brisbane

Before Sunday, the last time the Brisbane Lions had walked onto the turf of the Melbourne Cricket Ground, they celebrated the pinnacle of the sport - an AFL premiership secured in emphatic fashion for the second consecutive year.

  • CASEY: Brisbane

From the outset, the Casey Demons lacked any spring in their steps. They were out-hustled and out-bustled and finally outplayed by the Brisbane Lions by 38 points on their home turf in perfect conditions at Casey Fields.
