Lisa for short

Maybe, Adonski!

Though the pronunciation and double N might call for a double S and different pronunciation?

A pretty nasty virus resultsย ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

A great debut.. leave him in the seniors for the rest of the year.

The more game time and experience he gains the better he'll be at AFL level.

Didn't look out of place, what happens when Salo is back though?

Congratulations young man a fine debut and you didn't look out of place. He has a bit of toe!

I am only too glad to eat humble pie. I considered him a very good VFL player whose basic game would not transfer over to the AFL. Boy, was I wrong. His awareness and intensity were top notch and his decision making was a very pleasant surprise. I reckon he has Bowey's spot for the time being, considering how out of form Bowey has been.

Interesting that so much of our play in the last quarter looked to lack composure, but AMZ seemed to remain composed. He did run out of gas though, which is to be expected on debut in the Brisbane humidity.ย

Projecting forward, and I may perhaps be in fantasy land here, but in a few years I can see him with the tools to be a very capable midfielder. He's tough, got agility and speed, tackles well and can break lines. Give him the license to see ball get ball and he's going to win a lot of contested footy.

An excellent debut. Should've played earlier. Should be rewarded with a position on the senior list for 2025.ย

A lot of AMWโ€™s possessions at Casey have been playing on in kick -ins.

On his debut tonight he may even step up one day next season and assist the kick ins.ย

Thought tonight we did get superb distance but just every now and again we should go short and start a run from the back.

Our ability ย to discover ย potentially good half backs is amazing. We need to if Riv is going to perform in the guts. Seems set for a fine even more impactful career if he can fine tune his disposal.ย

Well well well. I called for his promotion for many many weeks. ย

He had an excellent debut. ย

WELL PLAYED YOUNG MAN.ย

He must stay in.ย

ย

Great debut. Stuck some fantastic tackles, seemed to play naturally and not overawed.ย
Rivs ainโ€™t going back the back line and Bowey, Salem, McVee, Howes have comp for the spot back there.

I can see this too

Tough in the contest, fast and has lots of desire. Started off a bit fumbly but worked into the game and made a big impact. Disposal is still a bit NQR but he is here to stay.

Good get.

Great get. Now to enhance his experience and talent - or is that beyond our coaching methodology?

Outstandingย

He's got that 'Laurie Fowler' style on the run, straight into good tackles, takes the bump and emerges with the ball, kicks to improve the team positioning - now for the forwards to be able to read it all (with movement to make him targets).

Some good things coming out of this season. He is certainly one of them.

Will be our 5th debutant for the year. We could have 8 players this week with less than 50 games experience and 10 under 24 years of age.

There is a pleasing reality: these newbies punctuating our team nearly knocked off a very hot team (Brizzy) playing without good fortune and disrespectful umpiring.ย

200 gamer barring some mishap.

Very good player.

Shaky start with a few of his touches but built into the game nicely, has pace and aggressiveness, done enough to get a few games to see what happens

ย

Brilliant composure and dash. Did the number 45 jumper proud for any Matty Whelan fans โค๏ธ

A really solid debut - exceeded expectations, I would say. He looked very poised for a first gamer and looks to have a bright future.

  • AFLW REPORT: Western Bulldogs

Weโ€™re back! That was fun. The Mighty Deesโ€™ Season 10 campaign is off toa flying start with a commandingย 48-point winover the Western Bulldogs, retaining the Hampson-Hardeman Cup in style. • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
