So umps allowed to talk but player can’t? Double standard if you ask me.

The umpires are officiating the game. Not the players.

Kozzie just going for a spoil. It's a footy act. Can't change your position once in the air......

If you don’t think they will give him a week for that then you haven’t been paying attention, I don’t agree with it but he will get a week I would be shocked if he doesn’t

Appeal, appeal, appeal I say!

More silly post

Not really, they are cracking down big time in this especially if you have a history.

Yep he's in trouble.

He's letting the team down with that stuff.

Needs to stop asap.

Pickett turns his head and follows the ball before contact, the elbow is not intentional as he is looking to push off the player to burst away, I think the first angle looks bad, but the second one shows he is just following the footy. Clearly low impact.

If we go by Collingwood lawyer the Adelaide player runs himself into his elbow. Lol. To soon?

Minimum of two weeks for Koz , and may even be as high as 4 , being intentional, head high and having priors.

Silly boy

Come off it , he had his arms out to try to smother, saw the contact coming, put his arm down to protect his side/ribs.

2 max.
Agree with the rest.

I think he just makes overly aggressive decisions. Tommy McDonald did the same thing when he was around the same age. It's an education thing not a skill thing I think.

Yep, he needs to tidy up that part of his game

I mean they didn't do anything about that thug act by Collingwood's number 4... 🤷🏻‍♂️

Kozzzy thinks it’s the 1980s.  Someone has to tell him that times have changed.  Two weeks at least 🤢🤢🤢🤢

Yep, clear as day. Left the ground, tucked the elbow to protect himself and not his opponent, head high contact + prior history. 2-4 for him.

How’s the wind?

I've had some spicy chicken wings and several beers. Likely to increase this half.

He lifted the elbow and made contact with the head

His problem is he's got form.

Fair enough if he doesn't get the benefit of the doubt.

Needs to cut that stuff out.

This.
And as soon as your feet leave the grind you’re in big trouble

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
