Up and about, talking to the staff...

Can we get Port’s Dr down to the ground, stat!

I’m not coping. Mrs Super is a Pies person (along with that entire side of the family) and she is being very understanding and providing pastoral care

We're actually on top ATM need to convert

We’ve weathered the storm. Now we go to work and grind these [censored] into the mcg dirt

come on dees

We have 8 more inside 50s….😒

Side bottom giving Langdon an absolute bath.

Our forward line.

 Gee wizz.

Yep. We lead in clumps into dead pockets and flanks. Collingwood create and lead into space.

No its not, its a replay of the Kings Birthday game.

Not, we dominated that game after 10 minutes. Our midfield has been underwhelming.

We've got them on the ropes. They [censored] themselves at every contest. Langdon is a huge liability tonight though.

If we had any forward line nous we would be half a chance.

Off season need new forward line coach.

Not out of it but making it hard for ourselves.

Had all the play in the second half of that quarter, couldn’t put it on the scoreboard. 33 inside 50s to 23 and we are 17 points down

We're absolutely in this! Momentum changed our direction and we couldn't connect forward.

So much upside still. Viney, Oliver and Petracca have been quiet so far so watch them lift this 2nd half.

Gawn, Pickett and May are keeping us in it!

Cmon lads!

We did do better that quarter but we only kicked the 1 goal.

Neal Bullen, Chandler, petracca & our tall forwards must do something this half

We got back ascendancy and only 3 goals down. Confidence booster going int9 half time

And why the [censored] we never seem to have someone at the drop of the ball when are bombing it inside our F50.

Collingwood creates a ground ball and carry into space and start their transition game.

No forward system at all none. Big bomb every time. Pathetic.

Then again we can’t pass a ball either.

Trac and Viney pants in that quarter.

32 to 23 inside 50s to us.

80 % of them shockers.

Bowey and kozzie and Max been good.

Max - bog

Bowey -on

Kozzie - on

Chin - yep

We're in this.

2nd

X defense holding up

x no transition

x nothing from the “elite” Trac Viney Oliver !

Kozzzy

Gawn

x Fritsch soft just soft (Kozzzy goal) / one handed jumps / marks fumbles

🤬🤬🤬 33 inside 50s.  Two goals. Goodwin not teaching anything  - connection forward of Centre is farrrrrrrrkd

Absolutely. Langdon has barely won a 1:1 against him.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Collingwood

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
