Tmac's game was superb, crashing the contest and ripping down some contested marks with 4 to go along with it.

Thats the tmac we all know and love.

Was Hibberd injured? AFL app says so but I didn’t hear the commentators mention anything during the 4th quarter?

He did have ice around the calf when they panned to the bench, no mention of an injury though.

Strange Sparrow went to Gaff after quarter time. I wonder why not Kelly?

Fritta's clean skills stood out in the first half.

Grundy is settling nicely.

TMac looked dangerous and three contested marks was good.

Petracca was great after quarter time.

Oliver was immense... again.

Kozzy is class just needed to finish.

McVee looked classy again.

Salem should earn his way back through the VFL at this point. 2021 was a long time ago now, and he hasn't played too well in over a year (not his fault - but true all the same).

Brayshaw is more at risk IMO

Is there something wrong with the Optus surface? I’m staggered how often players slipped over.

Trac’s set shot routine is transformed. Walks straight, holds the ball straight, 3 steps in, 4th the kick with STRAIGHT momentum, no leaning back on it. Seems simple, and it is!

A job well done by the boys securing the 4 points against a depleted but annoyingly scrappy oppo…great we are kicking high scores this season very enjoyable to watch

Should have been 20 goals!!

Frustrating first half rife with skill and decision errors but credit to West Coast who were undermanned but brought the heat to the contest. That explained some of the skill errors but not the decision making when in space and going inside 50.

Tidied up second half and were never really threatened after the break. Good to see TomMac back, Kozzie finding his way after an errant first half, Trac work his way into the game and some great flashes from kids like JVR, McVee.

Doubled their score, topped 100 points so it's miserable to complain but still getting used to a team doing just what it needs to do.

Easy win now I can watch Paris to Roubaix over the cobble stones

He’s managing Achilles tenderness

If that Fritta shot went through it would have been 20 goals in a game two weeks in a row. Not bad for a team that has no forward line and can't score.

Kelly was getting a heap of but kicking at 30% he wasn’t really hurting us.

This time last week he was hobbling off after the game too. Must just be old age.

First quarter a bit sloppy at times against undermanned opponents but overall an efficient job well done. Got to also give credit to Tim Kelly, whose lion-hearted effort for the Eagles prevented our midfield from taking even greater control. Overall, plenty of positives, especially with Grundy now match-fit and increasingly dominant at stoppages.

Solid win even if it was messy.

I really miss Gawn.

Over 700 metres gained, not bad.

Great win Dees.  Very even team performance, and more selection headaches for our Match Committee next week. More than happy with the 10 goal margin and the 15% that came with it.  Onward and upward …….. Go Dees!

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
