I haven’t barracked for Geelong since I was born and I won’t barrack for them until the day that I die.
If they win by a point today and lose 22 players to injury I would rejoice as it will be a win win.

Fremantle are a much improved team from the early part of the season, not going to be easy to beat them next week.

This thread is dropping off, just like our own form. How depressing!

And it comes to a cross roads next week for both.

same. i’m happy for Freo to win even though it hurts our draft picks

hatred can transcend logic

Sorry but I hate the vermin too much.

Well beat Freo next week.

We must, we need to be at least 2-1 coming into the Bye.

Freo's form has picked up significantly the last few weeks. they'll be no easy beast next weekend.

Yeah nah I stopped supporting the Cats after about five seconds. Will take an inferior draft pick and even a loss next week if it means their reign of terror is over.

Good to the Cats lose, regardless of the circumstances.

We just need to pump Freo next week to get the thread back on track!

In positive news, one of our first round picks is guaranteed to improve after this weekends game

Hope we make a statement on the weekend and belt them by 100 points.

Wouldn’t mind seeing a new entry into the Viney made me cry thread either, especially featuring the mummy’s boy.

Make them hurt Dees!

Pick 4-5 seems worth the deathriding effort. 6-12 I'm assuming a negligible difference, and a 'what will be will be' feeling 🤷‍♂️

Too right John, pick 4-5 is a good year's deathriding work from us I'd say.

  • PREVIEW: Collingwood

Way back in March we contemplated the possibility of a Demon resurgence after Simon Goodwin’s summer of love. Many issues at the club had seemingly been addressed, key players were returning from injury and a brand new day was about to dawn. We imagined the coach pulling a rabbit out of a hat. The team would roar up the charts, push aside every opponent and make its way to a Grand Final ending in ultimate triumph with Goody and Max holding the premiership cup aloft under a shower of red and blue ticker tape.

  • AFLW REPORT: Western Bulldogs

We’re back! That was fun. The Mighty Dees’ Season 10 campaign is off toa flying start with a commanding 48-point winover the Western Bulldogs, retaining the Hampson-Hardeman Cup in style. After a hard-fought first half in slippery conditions, the Dees came out in the second half and showcased their trademark superior class, piling on four goals in the third termand never looked back.

  • REPORT: Hawthorn

The final score in Saturday's game against Hawthorn was almost identical to that from their last contest three months ago. Melbourne suffered comprehensive defeats in both games, but the similarities ended there. When they met in Round 9, the Demons were resurgent, seeking to redeem themselves after a lacklustre start to the season. They approached the game with vigour and dynamism, and were highly competitive for the first three quarters, during which they were at least on par with the Hawks. In the final term, they lapsed into error and were ultimately overrun, but the final result did not accurately reflect their effort and commitment throughout the match.

  • CASEY: Box Hill

The Casey Demons ended the regular season on a positive note and gained substantial momentum leading into the finals when they knocked the Box Hill Hawks off the top of the VFL ladder in their final round clash at Casey Fields. More importantly, they moved out of a wild card position in the finals race and secured a week's rest as they leapfrogged up the ladder into fifth place with their decisive 23-point victory over the team that had been the dominant force in the competition for most of the season.
