Hold the phone its squeaky bum time for the Swans, they could lose this...

King has done it for us, 40pts in 10min is not happening.

Hello Jetstar can you put those tickets to Sydney on hold please. Yes please don't think i am going to need them after all.

I'll say it again...

THIS GAME IS NOT OVER!

Technically they can't confirm anything yet because St Kilda could theoretically still win and change the match ups entirely.

But I'd assume from here it will be:

  1. Thursday - Fremantle v Dogs
  2. Friday - Geelong v Collingwood
  3. Saturday afternoon - Brisbane v Richmond
  4. Saturday night - Melbourne v Sydney or Sydney v Melbourne

Keeps the breaks between the EF winners and QF losers close.

I'd say it's at the G forย  but Saints are doing well now. Hmm mmmm.

10 minutes to go. Saints 13 points down.

If they get up, Melbourne play Collingwood in a QF...at the MCG

Are Saints going to do the unthinkable here. I's rather Swans in the QF than pies

Would we rather play Pies or Swans?

I would love the Pies but many other do not agree.

Want Swans to kick a few now lick your lips playing them at G

It won't happen, but do we want St Kilda to win?

I don't want to play Collingwood at all, but if we have to play them I suppose a QF is better than a PF.

We have a home final boys and girls

Gees Swans look as bad as Carlton at the minute.

It's been a few years since we have played a final at the G.

Itโ€™s Game Day and the Demons have made the long trip west to take on Fremantle tonight at Optus Stadium. Can Melbourne make it two from two to start the season, and what are you hoping to see from the Dees under the lights in Perth?

  • PREVIEW: Fremantle

The dominant storyline coming out of Round One for Saturday Nightโ€™s clash at Optus Stadium centres on the influence of the big men. The spotlight naturally falls on two elite ruckmen who, five years ago, shared the stage in Melbourneโ€™s memorable premiership triumph.

  • NON-MFC: Round 02

The compromised AFL fixture will get another test this week with the first lot of teams getting a bye after only two matches. Despite this Round 2 starts off with two cracking games as the Hawks host the Swans at the G on Thursday Night and then on Friday Night the Crows host the Bulldogs at Adelaide Oval. Who are you tipping this week and what are the best results for the Demons?

  • THE STATS FILES: St. Kilda

As part of the effort to trim the runtime of the regular podcast, weโ€™ve been looking at which segments could be reshaped without losing what makes them valuable. One segment that naturally came into focus was Binmanโ€™s Stats Files. Not because it isnโ€™t important; quite the opposite. Itโ€™s become such a substantial and much-loved part of the show that it deserves a little room to breathe.

  • REPORT: St. Kilda

One of the big stories of the AFL off-season was the spending spree of Melbourneโ€™s Round 1 opponent, St Kilda. They splashed out heavily, first to retain Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera - the hero of last yearโ€™s epic come-from-behind miracle victory -turning him into a $2 million man. They then effectively took out an expensive overdraft to recruit a string of expensive players from other clubs. It was a risky investment strategy and, although itโ€™s still early days, it certainly failed to pay off in Sundayโ€™s season opener, with much of the glitter turning to foolโ€™s gold.
