Nice goal on the 3/4 siren Saints!

That goal dropped their percentage 0.6 percent

I thought Essendon played the worst quarter of footy to cough it up against the pies. Didn't think it was possible to top that but Carlton have somehow managed it.

Without doubt the worst choke I've seen. If I was a Carlton supporter i wouldn't be able to sleep tonight. Probably wouldn't be able to sleep all week

My sister is a fanatical Carlton supporter, she is going to be in a world of pain. I really don’t know what to say to her, any other Carlton supporter and I do.

Assuming Saints score no more....how much more points do swans need to get to 3rd?

27 more points ie 100

Swan are 26point behind whats needed at 3/4 time. Long as the saints can kick a few we should get a home game.

More goals saints! Swans need something like 8 points for every saints goal to keep the percentage above us.. final quarter shootout would be perfect

LOL, we’re cheering for the Saints but mostly we’re like ‘Kick it to Kent!’ He’s got his own personal cheer squad. 😄

FMD! I don't think he'll save us !!!!

Swans need 27 more points if St Kilda doesn't score. 99-49 will do it.

If Swans lose do we plays the Magpies?

Yes but they won’t

They would need 19 players to get injured to lose

Yes.

But Sydney isn't about to do a Carlton. They aren't losing from here.

I've sent commiserations to my Carlton supporting mates. I don't have the heart to take the pizz

I know it’s been said numerous times but I’ll repeat - the higher the combined score the wider the gap needs to be for the Swans to gain the 2.2 percent they needed.

They lead by 4 goals but have only gained 0.6 percent of that gap.

We will be playing on the Thursday night, No way the AFL will waste the Cat / Pies game. It goes straight to the Friday night spot.

If Geelong v Collingwood is the Friday night, we'll be the Saturday night.

They'll put the Fremantle v Dogs game on the Thursday night so that the winner of that has an 8-day break into the semi final the following Friday night. Meanwhile the loser of our game will get a 7-day break into the winner of Brisbane v Richmond, also on Saturday.

If we were the Thursday, the loser of our game would either get a 9-day break into a Saturday semi (which would mean the winner of Brisbane v Richmond gets a 6-day break into a Friday semi), or an 8-day break into a Friday semi where Brisbane v Richmond winner gets a 5-day break.

I agree. Hilarity on steroids!

Carlton lose to Collingwood by a point. Carlton out of the finals.

Meanwhile, Collingwood perfectly set up to crash and burn their double chance.

Bring it on.

Yeah except Collingwood can't seem to lose at the moment. Plus we now have to put up with there feral supporters

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
