Hopefully the Saints do the impossible and beat the old cats 😬.

Another Carlton loss would be nice too

Need to do my tips. 5 ahead in my comp, plebs in 2nd and 3rd probably going to go for smokeys. Should I hedge my bets?

I shall wait for the morrow to don my red and blue glasses.

Could be "moving day" for a few teams

Dare we dream about top spot ??

MFCSS

Hawks

Fruggos

Dogs

Cats

Port

Swans

Bears

I thought Tigers would have been favourites against Port, but they are a $2.10 outsider.  Might take that.

there a couple of 50-50 games so i'd play a straight bat.  you are better at tipping than they are anyway!

crazy odds!  Port have no chance of the 8 and the Tigers desperately need a win

I got on at $2.31

Gamble responsibly

Anyone give the Giants a chance? Who am I kidding.

I wouldn't rule them out.

They'll be seething from last week and Essendon aren't that good.

Could there be a less interesting pair of games on this afternoon?

Swans get North second time round. % booster will put them ahead of us.

We win one more game and we finish in the MCG home finals bracket 4,5 and 6.(assuming Geelong are 1 which they will be playing eagles at the cattery in r23.)

If we hit our best  we could win the flag from 5 or 6 or 2nd. Why not?

We finish 6 we get a weaker opponent than finishing 1st or 2nd.

Much better finishing top2 but can be done in a season like this one re...2016.

Go Dogs

Wow losing to Dogs put our form into perspective. Dogs a putrid today. It amazing how some teams lift against us.

We lead the Dogs by 27 points or thereabouts and gave up the lead. Let's see how Freo go

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Collingwood

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
