What are the odds you happen to be reading that book?!

Good qtr by the Dogs but I still reckon Bevo is more interested in his hair, moustache and biceps.

No Ginnivan ... No Collingwood.

I think the dogs are broken and I think Melbourne broke them. Lets see if they can go for longer then one half of football. I'm guessing they will fold if the Pies put any pressure on.

The Pies are looking like a cold mouldy old pastie tonight

This game got boring pretty quickly

When the pressure is Baku has looked the calmest

Don't anyone underrate the dogs this year. Their 2nd quarter against us is still the best footy we've faced this year, and they're dangerous af.

They're not out of the race until they're dead and gone.

It is still nice to see the filth getting done.

I thought the GOOD teams were meant to play on Friday nights.

Why the hell do we not regularly play on Friday nights?????????

i hate watching [censored] teams play on Friday nights it’s so bloody boring.

They can only do it for 10 minutes though.

Who is this Khamis? When did Dogs get him?

Came from their academy - before the rules changed to screw us.

Lol Moore, have some awareness when the ball is going out on the full…costly error.

Idk about that, but that 50 against him that gifted Collingwood their last goal was ridiculous.

Still cant even kick straight even under  a closed roof

I actually disagree it was clear ly dissent, the odd thing is the other 10 they don't pay

Does the AFL actually pay people to make decisions on replay moments of inconclusive goals?

I could have sworn I saw the ball trajectory change and I'm partially  20/20.. yet it was a goal.

Score review technology running on dial up internet and a Nokia 3310.
Get. Better. Cameras.

With the Cameras they use, it is a lottery.
The AFL Should be using the best Cameras available. It’s not as if they cannot afford them.
It is seriously pathetic

would be an interesting 10 year stat for all teams

I've only tuned in for thr last quarter.

Is there a reason the Filth supporters are booing Khamis every time he goes near it, or are they just trying to put a cherry on top of racism week?

  • AFLW REPORT: Gold Coast

The forecast said wind. The ladder said mismatch. The scoreboard said obliteration. Melbourne didn’t just beat Gold Coast — they dismantled them: 13.15 (93) to 0.6 (6). An 87-point obliteration, the Suns held goalless, and the Demons delivering their second-highest winning margin and third-highest score in AFLW history.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #28 Will Verrall

It was a tough ask for him to break through as a 199cm ruckman in the shadow of an all-time great in that position who is also the club captain. He had some good days at Casey but was unable to progress and was delisted at the end of the season.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #29 Tom Campbell

The 33-year-old Campbell has yet to play AFL football for Melbourne, but his Casey form has been strong and he has been retained as a ready-made ruck depth option who is widely regarded as someone who is excellent for the culture of the club.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #30 Harry Sharp

The Demons acquired an interesting player in Sharp, who narrowly missed securing a spot in the Lions’ premiership team last year. The 22-year-old medium forward played in the opening round this season and ended up with 18 senior games, although he was substituted in or out in for ten of those matches. He demonstrated glimpses of form, but ultimately ended the year on the margins of the team.

  • 2025 Player Reviews: #31 Bayley Fritsch

Worked his way back after a slow start and a further slump in form going into the midseason but became a solid contributor for the club in the latter half of 2025. Closing in on 300 goals for the club.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Gold Coast

On Friday, the Demons return to our Casey Fields fortress where they have a 77% win rate. The scent of September is in the air and the struggling Suns are on the horizon. The Cranbourne weather forecast? Ominous, like the match itself: a strong chance of carnage. Let’s be honest, last week’s first half against the West Coast was a training drill but we dropped our guard in the final quarter. While this match is a mismatch on paper — second versus seventeenth — football is won in the wind, the contests, and the moments.
