Oh yeah??? Nup loss comming up I

It’s like we put money on the tigers.  We dominated and yet missed so many easy shots.

Everytime Neal Bullen gets it he turns it over.

His worst game for a long time. Only upside from here.

Bad kicking is bad football.

Time to reset and grind out four points.

We kicked 1-6. Just not good enough

Worse than that AFL Standard need to kick everything. Worse display in 10 years

Hope that’s not the attitude inside the rooms. Gotta make it happen.

No I'm surre it not. The intensity has been incredible. We have definitely not switched off.

Fritta needs to get on his bike. Vloustin is his opponent and is destroying him and us.
Trac also really quiet.

I dunno, a bloke from St kilda kicked 1.7 on Friday.  That was worse lol

What was Jackson doing there?! Could have easily made it to spoil

Got absolutely torn to shreds by Gus after it too.

I’m done with Weid. Move his [censored] to the dead pocket and tell him to play up and down that flank only.

Park BBB in the square and have the smalls rove off him

Need to show our normal third quarter!

Agree. Intensity, intent, all good. We just buggered up 10 easy shots at goal and it blew the wind right out of us when they go inside 50 once and goal immediately.
Bad kicking is bad football. It’s honestly inexcusable for top quality players to miss these shots and once the rot starts it’s hard to stop because it becomes mental.

Petty excellent. Defence doing their job. Just need to find our shooting boots

It shows you the importance of goalkicking.  Players are professional and train or play 6 days a week but in general goalkicking is getting worse!!!

Nathan Buckley’s trying to argue that Richmond have forced this scenario. He’s completely ignoring our inaccuracy. That’s the game right there. Appalling commentary from someone who should know better.

Luke Dun(just)standere!! Waiting outside pack is not his roll. Rather have lost lambs tonight than September though.

My pork belly is looking superb.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
