That is the burning question Mono 6’3” in old terms fwd/back, great hands and team player and Adem Yze’s boy. Let’s hope he has a good run in the second half and earns a spot on the list. I love the romance of father/sons.

Agree Dazzle, immensely talented and could have been anything. Unfortunately not professional off field. However that final against the crows where he absolutely left nothing out there and came off to an ovation absolutely exhausted I respect him for that. I was on the end of one of his 40 metre bullets. He laced me out in the Ponsford Stand end in that Troy Broadbridge tribute game against Essendon when he kicked that goal and kissed the armband. Clean hands too which was a great achievement as I was several cans deep by that stage.

And if you can't ask Robbo directly, then have a read of page 184 of Between The Flags where Robbo describes leading to Ooze and Trapper.

He’s had some big games for Caulfield. A 35 disposal game included. No idea what comes of it all, but would love to see us have a go with him considering he’s doing a lot more than Rosman did and they have similar height, running capacity. 

I know nothing about him but just had a little google and saw his last three games for Oakleigh Charges (round 3, 12 & 13) he has been named in the best players each time.

Hopeful for a big second half of the year for the young fella.

Trap was a rather unique player.  Very deceiving really.  Granted he probably waxed and waned some. Where some saw lethargy i saw comsidered composure.

He had the very rare ability to amost make time slow around him. He seemed to play in space where there was none. Quite something to watch. An absolutely sublime kick.

I used to come down from the country to watch the Dees play with my numerous years older sister who was living in Melbourne at the time.

every time I watched him live, He’d have a ‘mere of a game and we would often yell out to not give the ball to him.

perhaps I need to revise my view and assume he did pinpoint kicks and it was the leading player who was at fault? 🤷‍♂️😀

Lazy defensively. Yes for that 5-10% of his career at the Dees when he was on point, he was amazing.  Other than that he definitely was never fit enough and didnt seemed to have the desire to become Trac, Viney or Clayton like in his pre season preparations. 

Oakleigh Chargers had a comfortable 33 point win against Eastern Ranges and Noah Yze had a productive game with 23 touches, 2 marks and 4 tackles. He’s getting it together at last after a slowish start. I believe that he’s a likely rookie draft pick and since he wasn’t considered for the state side in the national championships, I assume that we won’t be challenged by any of the other clubs.

he's played for oakleigh 6 times and been in the 'best players' in the last 4 games he's played in for oakleigh

Likely still a rookie draft pick.  Hes got some talent but looking at how he fits into an AFL position.  Tall half forward possibly to start.  

Watching Adem on AFL360 I noticed that his hair’s greying very quickly.

Who would be an AFL coach?

Same type of player as Aaron Van Den Berg.

I used to work with TJ's cousin who said he could of been anything but was "too much of a beech bum"  🤣😂

I went to the Mornington races a few months after TJ was drafted and he was deep inside the betting ring. The kid was 17 years old. I started having misgivings about him then and there but he still turned out a very, very good player. Could he have been a great if he had his head in the “right” place all of the time? I’m not sure because that was TJ - a bit of a larrikan who could never be tamed.

I played on him for 15 min when he was 15-16 and I was 17-18. He was comically good. I was psyched when we drafted him.

The good thing to come out of that 15 min from my perspective was that my then coach never experimented with me in the midfield ever again.

Played well. Not disssimilar to how Brown went last year. Stuck to his role, did the team thing. His running impressed me and so did his tackling. I would have liked to have seen him kick the sealer instead of pass it off to Billings, but showed great aweness. Went too hard at times to give away some free kicks, but seemed a little better than the Casey listed players debuts I remember. I can see us rooking him, but not national draft. And probably think a Fritch or Jefferson level of development. Would need a couple of years.
