We really look fumbley.
Viney, goal aside, hasn’t touched it.

Very fumbley and too often second to the loose ball.

Brilliant Kozzie..

Luke Jackson's hands there to get that to Petracca - it was so fast not even Trac was expecting it!

Good for Pickett to get some reward for his off-the-ball defensive work.

Good to see Kosi still knows where the goals are. Love his tenacity up the ground, but he’s a small crumbing goal kicker first and foremost.

No words can express my love for Oliver.

A difference in Neal Bullen from now to 2-3 years ago… he wouldn’t have hand balled and would’ve tried to kick that goal himself.

Team orientated play wins premiership

Hate to say this but Hawks are going ok.

Right at the moment they are on top of the ladder.

What can you say about Jacko?!? Kouda meets Buddy with a touch of Dean Cox.

even the sky is not the limit for this freak!

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
