I don't recall if he/she has been accurate in the past.

But I believe one of the reasons people are so wary of his/her posts is he/she was the one who posted a series of inane riddles one year about a massive trade which never eventuated, which frustrated people.

They were real annoying head twisters too. People haven't forgotten.

Reckon there are worse posters on Land than GNF, particularly the argumentative ones.

None of us have a perfect record

Except us!

I'm not going to divulge my sauce, but I have it on good authority that after our Premiership win Jackson will call Goody over to have a drink from the Premiership Cup which Goody will oblige and when Jackson goes to have a drink Goody will say "Nah Dogga drink from this." before taking off his shoe for Jacko to do a shoey. Jacko will finish the shoey in one big gulp and with a big grin say to a reporter "Hey Brus, pass me that pen." and sign a 10 year deal with Melbourne where he will go on to become one of the best midfielders of all time and win numerous Premierships. Believe.

- I'm not going to divulge my source..

- I have it on good authority..

- Word in the grapevine is..

- A source close to me says..

Not to defend GNF, but if you hate his/her posts/think they're rubbish; why not just block him/her?

Makes for a better site than the current personal attacks.

So  mum is the word, that's cryptic enough for me not to understand.

That you Caro? 🤣

Was absolutely pathetic tonight.

One mark and absolutely taken to the cleaners by a 4 club journey man.

Hickey pantsed him. But he also pantsed Gawn so…

Bet my bottom dollar he was Ill, looked terrible.

Jackson was terrible. Dropped marks and fumbled all night.  Just didn’t try which is harsh but physically got pushed aside by Hickey and then tossed it in.

Freo… I’m selling now if you want him !!!

Your 1st & 2nd round 2022 draft picks  Plus your 2023 1st round pick

FOR

Luke Jackson and MFC 2022 2nd round pick

He did. And a few of the boys looked flat didn’t they.

Very harsh mate.

We wouldn’t have a flag without his 4 possession 1 free kick (against) third quarter in last years granny.

Unfortunately that was by far his poorest game for the year.

Everytime he was in the ruck he was physically beaten by Hickey fairly easily which resulted in Sydney just winning the easy clearence.

Without a doubt. His elite below the knees skills no-where to be seen. 1 mark. Bottled it unfortunately

I still hope Jacko stays, but his mind seems elsewhere tonight.

That's a win win tip any way you spin it

Copping it hard and trying to remain positive.

Win next week and we are one of four still with the same equal opportunity.

That’s all keeping me sane right now.

Hopefully a kebab on the way home helps ease the pain somewhat.

Props to Clayton and Steven (minus the momentum killer moment).

Yep he's gone for all money, was shizzen all night, but had a lot of mates, Did I say Shizzen, well that could have had a lot to do with it. Just watch the truth trickle out!!

Don't want Jackson to go but I'm not entirely sure why.

  • PREVIEW: St. Kilda

The media has performed a complete reversal in its coverage of the Melbourne Football Club over the past month and a half. Having endured intense criticism from all quarters in the press, which continually identified new avenues for scrutiny of every aspect, both on and off the field, and prematurely speculated about the departures of coaches, players, officials, and various employees from a club that lost its first five matches and appeared out of finals contention, the narrative has suddenly shifted to one of unbridled optimism.  The Demons have won five of their last six matches, positioning themselves just one game (and a considerable amount of percentage) outside the top eight at the halfway mark of the season. They still trail the primary contenders and remain far from assured of a finals berth.

  • REPORT: Sydney

A few weeks ago, I visited a fellow Melbourne Football Club supporter in hospital, and our conversation inevitably shifted from his health diagnosis to the well-being of our football team. Like him, Melbourne had faced challenges in recent months, but an intervention - in his case, surgery, and in the team's case, a change in game style - had brought about much improvement.  The team's professionals had altered its game style from a pedestrian and slow-moving approach, which yielded an average of merely 60 points for five winless games, to a faster and more direct style. This shift led to three consecutive wins and a strong competitive effort in the fourth game, albeit with a tired finish against Hawthorn, a strong premiership contender.  As we discussed our team's recent health improvement, I shared my observations on the changes within the team, including the refreshed style, the introduction of new young talent, such as rising stars Caleb Windsor, Harvey Langford, and Xavier Lindsay, and the rebranding of Kozzy Pickett from a small forward to a midfield machine who can still get among the goals. I also highlighted the dominance of captain Max Gawn in the ruck and the resurgence in form in a big way of midfield superstars Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver.

  • POSTGAME: Sydney

The Demons controlled the contest from the outset, though inaccurate kicking kept the Swans in the game until half time. But after the break, Melbourne put on the jets and blew Sydney away and the demolition job was complete.
