This version is the best by far! Well done  to those who manage to secure a copy 🙌

Signed jumpers for between $2000 to $20,000. That’s crazy $$. I think the players would loved to keep their jumpers.  Presumably they did swap at half time.

Got a PS3, 4 or 5 Cards?

Lol no Rusty, I was given a PS2 (I think) at one point by an ex. I think used it twice and left it in storage for about 10 years.

The match worn guernsey auctions are going bananas!

Oliver at $20k

Trac and Gawn at $15k

Fritta $10k & Jacko $8k

Then the rest around $3-$5k each

JJ the only one under $2k which makes sense.

That is a lot of cash for the club

Bargains.

Not wanting to divert money from the club but the Deebrief boys have some nice merch too which goes to supporting their podcast (I'm not way affiliated, just enjoy the pod and like the merch.)

Hi Mickey. I've just received the three t-shirts I ordered from them and the players and writing on the front have that plastic iron on look and feel and aren't screen printed on. I'll be interested to see how many washes on the cold water delicate cycle they survive before starting to degrade.

I'd like to see a daily merchandise $$$ tally on the MFC website, much like the membership tally updates.

Yeah, not sure Rab. I've been giving my Maxy shirt a good go for the last 3 week's and it's still looking good. Probably been washed 8-9 times since I got it. Still early days

Good to hear Mickey. I have The Enforcer (Maysie), Clarry and Wingers Club ones. I'll throw them in with the next 'whites only' wash I do before wearing them for the first time. Won't go near them with a hot iron though.

If that's the case, i hope they're selling the first half one's and plan on playing in those 2nd half jumpers for every game next year!

I wonder how these work? Do they have multiple jumpers they've worn through the match? You'd think the players would want to keep their jumper.

Hopefully the club gets a fair whack of that money. It's over $150k all up on the 23 jumpers so far.

I wonder how Jordan’s jumper comes into this scenario 🤔

Do Carlton Draught do premiership cans every year? I've only ever seen or heard about the Richmond cans.

I'd be hoping that Furphy's might be more the go for us, given their our sponsor.

...19 points down half way down through the third quarter and end up winning by record margin with a kick after the siren from Tom McDonald - now there's your Furphy (Oh wait, no it's not!!).

Won't be a Range Rover (despite being owned by JLR, which also owns Jaguar).

But a limited edition Jaaaaaaaggg might work. Nice dark blue leather with red piping perhaps?

I want one of these for my next snowfields trip RRTTS.

Its fascinating to watch the bidding. I reckon 20K is a bargain still .

Oliver is the clear favourite. Not the skipper or Trac.  His goal at the end of the 3rd 1/4 is one for the ages and will be his defining vision for the rest of his career.  Esp given the brilliant running and protection by Viney and the superb handover from Luke Jackson. Classic team effort brilliantly executed in the end by Oliver.

In the old days he might have sprayed it. Not now.

Just checked the herald sun and the premium posters are already sold out, can't be right..

Yeah - also showing exhausted here...

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.

  • AFLW REPORT: Collingwood

Expectations of a comfortable win for Narrm at Victoria Park quickly evaporated as the match turned into a tense nail-biter. After a confident start by the Demons, the Pies piled on pressure and forced red and blue supporters to hold their collective breath until after the final siren. In a frenetic, physical contest, it was Captain Kate’s clutch last quarter goal and a missed shot from Collingwood’s Grace Campbell after the siren which sealed a thrilling 4-point win. Finally, Narrm supporters could breathe easy.

  • CASEY: Williamstown

The Casey Demons issued a strong statement to the remaining teams in the VFL race with a thumping 76-point victory in their Elimination Final against Williamstown. This was the sixth consecutive win for the Demons, who stormed into the finals from a long way back with scalps including two of the teams still in flag contention. Senior Coach Taylor Whitford would have been delighted with the manner in which his team opened its finals campaign with high impact after securing the lead early in the game when Jai Culley delivered a precise pass to a lead from Noah Yze, who scored his first of seven straight goals for the day. Yze kicked his second on the quarter time siren, by which time the Demons were already in control. The youngster repeated the dose in the second term as the Seagulls were reduced to mere

Narrm time isn’t a standard concept—it’s the time within the traditional lands of Narrm, the Woiwurrung name for Melbourne. Indigenous Round runs for rounds 3 and 4 and is a powerful platform to recognise the contributions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in sport, community, and Australian culture. This week, suburban footy returns to the infamous Victoria Park as the mighty Narrm take on the Collingwood Magpies at 1:05pm Narrm time, Sunday 31 August. Come along if you can.

  • AFLW REPORT: St. Kilda

The Dees demolished the Saints in a comprehensive 74-pointshellacking.  We filled our boots with percentage — now a whopping 520.7% — and sit atop the AFLW ladder. Melbourne’s game plan is on fire, and the competition is officially on notice.

  • REPORT: Collingwood

It was yet another disappointing outcome in a disappointing year, with Melbourne missing the finals for the second consecutive season. Indeed, it wasn’t even close, as the Demons' tally of seven wins was less than half the number required to rank among the top eight teams in the competition. When the dust of the game settled and supporters reflected on Melbourne's  six-point defeat at the hands of close game specialists Collingwood, Max Gawn's words about his team’s unfulfilled potential rang true … well, almost.
