Even better, I’m wondering if anyone is going to livestream it.

I hope not.  This is where the tactics will be worked through that will deliver the win.  Lets not give Bevo a leg up!

I hope they have a full on hitout.

Either WCE training centre or on Optus stadium itself

Good news. I was worried we'd be playing where we trained today - that surface looked ripe for injuries.

We all know what happens next when a bulldog lifts his leg up.

Just no injuries please.

Exactly right. Smith did his hammy in one of these. Let’s hope no injuries this time.

Petty mentions in his interview the hit out will be tonight. If that’s the case I’d imagine fingernails will be getting a serious workout today waiting for this to conclude.

No injuries, Jack dial the tackles back, big question is will May be playing or is he taking all the rest he can get?

Makes perfect sense. Get ready for the conditions of a twilight game. I dunno Perth that well but if it gets sticky or dewy at that time of evening it’s a good thing we practice for it.
In Melbourne it usually drops 190 degrees and gets insanely windy at that time of the evening.

It'll be a closed session at laithlain, eagles home base.  I doubt they'd get access to Optus at that time if its twilight? The oval they re using is partially viable from around the are if anyone does know the time.  I'm sure the dogs will send someone.  Though it pretty clear how we play, so is there much value in the cloak and dagger anymore?

They are following the same program between the QF and PF, the staff know what they are doing.

I need to sleep for 24 hours. I’m more nervous about this [censored] thing than I was about the prelim.

I would imagine they will play at the same time as the Grannie is scheduled.

Anyone know what time this is on?

And anyone lucky enough to be in Perth able to update us live on how it pans out?

Pretty please.

It’s on now but I’m not sure if they’ll let people in to watch.
Just hope we don’t get any injury reports out of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Port Adelaide

Well, that was a shock. The Demons 4-game unbeaten run came to a grinding halt in a tense, scrappy affair at the sunny, windy Alberton Oval, with the Power holding on for a 2-point win. The Dees had their chances—plenty of them—but couldn't convert when it mattered most. Port’s tackling pressure rattled the Dees, triggering a fumble frenzy and surprising lack of composure from seasoned players.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Port Adelaide

The undefeated Demons venture across the continent to the spiritual home of the Port Adelaide Football Club on Saturday afternoon for the inaugural match for premiership points between these long-historied clubs. Alberton Oval will however, be a ground familiar to our players following a practice match there last year. We lost both the game and Liv Purcell, who missed 7 home and away matches after suffering facial fractures in the dying moments of the game.

  • AFLW REPORT: Richmond

A glorious sunny afternoon with a typically strong Casey Fields breeze favouring the city end greeted this round four clash of the undefeated Narrm against the winless Tigers. Pre-match, the teams entered the ground through the Deearmy’s inclusive banner—"Narrm Football Weaving Communities Together and then Warumungu/Yawuru woman and Fox Boundary Rider, Megan Waters, gave the official acknowledgement of country. Any concerns that Collingwood’s strategy of last week to discombobulate the Dees would be replicated by Ryan Ferguson and his Tigers evaporated in the second quarter when Richmond failed to use the wind advantage and Narrm scored three unanswered goals.

  • CASEY: Frankston

The late-season run of Casey wins was broken in their first semifinal against Frankston in a heartbreaking end at Kinetic Stadium on Saturday night that in many respects reflected their entire season. When they were bad, they committed all of the football transgressions, including poor disposal, indiscipline, an inability to exert pressure, and some terrible decision-making, as exemplified by the period in the game when they conceded nine unanswered goals from early in the second quarter until halfway through the third term. You rarely win when you do this.

  • AFLW PREVIEW: Richmond

Round four kicks off early Saturday afternoon at Casey Fields, as the mighty Narrm host the winless Richmond Tigers in the second week of Indigenous Round celebrations. With ideal footy conditions forecast—20 degrees, overcast skies, and a gentle breeze — expect a fast-paced contest. Narrm enters with momentum and a dangerous forward line, while Richmond is still searching for its first win. With key injuries on both sides and pride on the line, this clash promises plenty.
