If winning the Prelim feels this good imagine how good winning the GF will feel.

[censored] you beauty suck balls Sellwood Hawkins and Dangerfield.

And whatever Scott brother you are that coaches the cats ..I don't give a [censored]....  May a dinosaur take a [censored] in your perpetually opened gob.

Just another reminder…

That was our greatest all time winning margin against Geelong. 👍🏻😎

Thank you all the people who cheered Demons on in Optus Stadium tonight, wish you all have a very good weekend!

101 pts from stoppages..

4th highest ever.

Wow, what a game. The most pure joy watching this team.

I have been really focal about Viney's form and ability to compliment Trac and Oliver but credit to you Jack. Absolute outstanding game and I was wrong.

One more boys.

Said after Cats final last week, the game was terrible GWS were terrible, Cats were just less terrible. Hoped if they carried that form forward this might happen but you can never be that sure.

It was a great victory

however, we should spare a thought for TTT  ( Tommy the Thug) who must be feeling absolutely shocking after putting in one of the worst and most worthless performances that any Australian Rules players has ever put in in the history of the game.

I have gone back to 1898 and been unable to find any player who has piked it as comprehensively and pathetically as that beautiful Tom.

It hurts me to say this because I admire him so much

What the [censored] are you talking about?

Atkins is a smug [censored], loved seeing Oliver get to him.

Also loved us getting stuck into Selwood after he gave away 50, and Viney getting in Henry's face after he was outmarked by TMac (I think?).

That sort of bullying is what we've copped from Geelong for years. It's arrogant, but it's symbolic to see us give it back to them.

Which captain showed better leadership tonight?? 😄

Didn't like the pre GF bye before tonight. With May's hammy, suddenly I love the bye!

Stil not 100% sure - IF Dogs win then they will be the beneficiaries.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.

The Demons are finally back at the MCG and finally back on the winners list as they continually chipped away at a spirited Kangaroos side eventually breaking their backs and opening the floodgates to run out winners by 6 goals.
