FINALS: Week 02 2021 (NON MFC)

I just tuned in. Please @Demonland can you do the free kick count update like you usually do?

Geelong will win this. GWS no forward line. Hogan seems to be in one week and out the next.

Imagine Toby Green in this game. Absolutely different makeup to their forward line, even with Hogan out.

What a costly thing for him to have done.

Geelong clearly the better team. I really don’t want to play them again.

They look poor. They will also be tired and a week older next week. Neither team looks threatening.

This will be some upset if GWS can win this. Their midfield need to get going if they are to have any chance though.

Cats will win by 60+ and be cherry ripe for next week

Nah, this is totes excit…zzzzzzz.

Not sure who's going to provide the inspiration for the Giants tonight. They're looking pretty toothless so far

Was hoping these two teams would beat the [censored] out of each other. Instead it’s been less intense than a training drill.

If we lose to either of these teams next week I’ll burn the country to the ground.

Game will be over by halftime so it’s unlikely to be a physical game.

Mumford might go full Mumford white-line fever and do a bit of damage.

Daisy seems to be there. If we do happen to win the big one. Neitz and Barassi aren't in Perth. Jones could be medical sub. Could Daisy present premiership medals we invented the game and are pioneers.

Giants should put Mumford at full forward and bomb it to him. At least they'll have something to go to.

Me neither. I’m giving it a red hot go but I’m likely to just fall asleep at this rate.

I’m on an alcohol ban this weekend. Lockdown is not good for my drinking. On the other hand, this game is not good for my sobriety.

Would Holmes have gotten a run in our team this year? I highly doubt it.

If we cant beat Geelong next week we dont deserve to be there, they dont phase me at all.

I can't stand Sydney and I laughed when they lost, but this would have been a far better game had they won

What a pathetic match.

What a bloody awful game of football by both teams.

It’s Game Day and the Demons have made the long trip west to take on Fremantle tonight at Optus Stadium. Can Melbourne make it two from two to start the season, and what are you hoping to see from the Dees under the lights in Perth?

  • PREVIEW: Fremantle

The dominant storyline coming out of Round One for Saturday Night’s clash at Optus Stadium centres on the influence of the big men. The spotlight naturally falls on two elite ruckmen who, five years ago, shared the stage in Melbourne’s memorable premiership triumph.

  • NON-MFC: Round 02

The compromised AFL fixture will get another test this week with the first lot of teams getting a bye after only two matches. Despite this Round 2 starts off with two cracking games as the Hawks host the Swans at the G on Thursday Night and then on Friday Night the Crows host the Bulldogs at Adelaide Oval. Who are you tipping this week and what are the best results for the Demons?
