They're taking it easy and winning by 22 points.

Just get the win and no injuries and I'll be happy.

Hope you're right.

Last match against Crows, we were 16 points up with a few minutes to go .... then lost.

What does Angus Brayshaw add to our team?

In the position he is playing, zilch. But what if a mid goes down during the game? He’s good cover for that purpose.

Back at the 'G next Sat according to Tom Morris ?? (forget his name)

Yeah nah not buying that

So many excuses for this guy.

You don’t have to buy it. But it’s true.

Running at 3/4 pace today. Understandable given the past couple of weeks. Just do enough to win.

Not sure playing at the G in finals is all that much of an advantage to us. It's not like we dominate there

That can’t be right, it’s their home game.

Hes gonna go close this year...needs to nail it today and next week

Assume the venue against the Cats was a typo. No reason to move it

We play better at Doglands.

That’s it. This is a dead rubber. We just need to get through it

The whole side has been in quarantine and Aeroplanes lately

Prediction 8 goal quarter to the Dees this quarter

I feel like it’d be a great idea to have 2 game day threads. One negative, one positive. I drifted in here at half time and feel like I missed the part where we are 12 goals down.

🤷‍♂️

I think the mandate today was just get it done.

No need for a smashing.

Kinda shows but at least we are getting it done.

Also taxed after monday.

Gus needs to do more as does kozzie.

Yep he has been damm shocking should be hung from the highest, tree think you went a bit early there.

The Crows have the wind this quarter. Need to be switched on

May be due to Sydney v Gold Coast needing a venue.

Playing in 18 degree heat in August off 5 day turnaround after a red eye from Perth doesn’t help.

Boys looked stuffed on the HT siren

Time to put the pedal down a la Brisbane yesterday.

The last quarter for the last two matches haven't been stellar

Bravery from Smith!

  • REPORT: Carlton

I am now certain that the decline in fortunes of the Melbourne Football Club from a premiership power with the potential for more success to come in the future, started when the team ran out for their Round 9 match up against Carlton last year. After knocking over the Cats in a fierce contest the week before, the Demons looked uninterested at the start of play and gave the Blues a six goal start. They recovered to almost snatch victory but lost narrowly with a score of 11.10.76 to 12.5.77. Yesterday, they revisited the scene and provided their fans with a similar display of ineptitude early in the proceedings. Their attitude at the start was poor, given that the game was so winnable. Unsurprisingly, the resulting score was almost identical to that of last year and for the fourth time in succession, the club has lost a game against Carlton despite having more scoring opportunities.

  • CASEY: Carlton

The Casey Demons smashed the Carlton Reserves off the park at Casey Fields on Sunday to retain a hold on an end of season wild card place. It was a comprehensive 108 point victory in which the home side was dominant and several of its players stood out but, in spite of the positivity of such a display, we need to place an asterisk over the outcome which saw a net 100 point advantage to the combined scores in the two contests between Demons and Blues over the weekend.

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.
