Did you swallow a thesaurus for breakfast?

What makes you think, consider, surmise, guess, conclude, gather, feel, judge, suspect, glean that? 😁

Hurry up footy.

Not a fan of Nichols.

Isn't he the one that said to Gawn "what did you do that for?" and gawn replied "throw it up straight next time?"

Hopefully he has forgiven max

Who are our emergencies? If TMac is out then there’s a school of thought to go smaller but then we also need those tall players to ensure the ball comes to ground.

Hibberd, VDB, Jordon, Weid

Given the weather id be inclined to vanders or jj.

Like to see AVB run a straight line with a few upsetting collisions for which he is famous. Ever seen an Eagle splatted on the road from impact with a vehicle? It is not pretty, but it puts a full stop on 'em.

Hmmmm I would personally go with VDB in for TMac if there is the late change but I can see them giving Sam a go and give him simple instructions to get to as many contests as possible and bring it down to crumbers.

why a loss may not be the end of the world. MFCSS coming to the fore here.

If we win tonight, but lose against Geelong in the last round, and Port happen to beat the bulldogs in their last round, we would finish 3rd and play Port (second) away in the first final. This assumes all the top 4 win in Rd 22 - which is probably a fair assumption.

If we lose tonight, and then end up finishing fourth (assuming we lose to Geelong in the last round - which can be arranged!) we would play the Cats again in the first final (most likely at the G, but the risk is we end up at GMHBA)

Obviously the best outcome is just win the next 6 games - then nothing to worry about!

I’ve told everyone in my household that they have just 2 hours and 15 minutes left in the day to annoy me. After 8pm I do not exist and they must not come into my eyesight.

Pathetic.

Don't make outlandish remarks if you can't back them up with facts.

Stock standard 'Jumbo' as usual.

Ch 10 news saying TMac never left the gym today. Unlikely to start.

That would be a really poor result if we win tonight but end up finishing 3rd and face Port over there. Hopefully the Dogs beat Port in round 23.

Sounds like T Mac’s out.

I had a dream last night that we played Port in the Grand Final at Optus Stadium. Was only mid way into the second quarter when the alarm went off. Think we were 2 or 3 goals up 😎

how do you know toms out

Nothing to say other than

I’M EXTREMELY NERVOUS

Pretty relaxed. Think we win easily. This is week 2 of the Run to the Flag.

That's not certain snd if finishing higher will be given probably option of venues as in home and away.

So we need to finish 1 or 2,to get that advantage of choice wherever.

Also winning breeds confidence and self belief. Or haven't you played sport much over the journey.?

I'm not sure I understand your first point. Are you saying the top 2 will get to choose where they play finals? That is absolutely not how it works. The AFL will tell us where we are playing.

And your second point is weirdly antagonistic for some reason. I agree winning breeds confidence and self belief. Yes, I have played a substantial amount of sport in my life.

If McDonald is out then do they go the tall in Weideman,  or bring in another small in Jordon or Vandenberg due to the weather?

Reckon the Weid Dazzle unless it's absolutely pissing down

Surely a small.

Was that Tom Brown on 7 saying the AFL might scrap the last two rounds and bring the buy and finals foward?

Weid officially in.

So basically we can go from 4th right up to the top of the ladder. We can also get a 10 point buffer on the lions who are 5th. So us melbourne supporters having seen what this club can do, we all know what will happen tonight, yeh?

I really really hope Im wrong.

They said on the news before they reckon tommy will be out and because of the rain we may go small. West coast lost to nth in the wet a few weeks ago. The rain would be good because it would hinder kennedy and darling.

I just hope Gawn and LJ run Nic Nat off his feet. Such an important game.

If Weeds is definitely in then this is the first opportunity we'll have to see the tall forward set up that was planned prior to the T-Mac resurrection.
