Shattered about Tomlinson.  Was so happy for him that he’d finally found his position, and so happy for the team that we’d finally solidified our defensive structure.

Will be impossible to replace.

Are pressure is horrible ATM, worst I have seen for a while.

Sort out the clearances FFS

Oscar Bake is a rubbish footballer.

Hopefully this is the last game he ever plays for the red and blue.

this is why most posters on demonlanders are farrrr too biased that they have no idea.

Need a rocket at quarter time, this club never fails to [censored] me off

I never thought this was going to be an annihilation. It's the sort of game that has historically bothered us. Plus the Roos have a spell on us for whatever reason.

I expected a contest from a team with nothing to lose and everything to prove.

But we're getting carved up here.

Our goals were largely lucky. We better come out a different team or it'll potentially be a very embarrassing day.

We clearly came out expecting the win probably best that it’s north and not swans next week

Still no questions about Frittata being dropped behind the play.
Such biased commentary

Hard to watch Tomlinson on the bench

This is why we can’t be trusted. Embarrassing lack of pretty much everything.

Lever was consoling him so...you would think that indicates knee

We just don’t look up to it today

  • PREVIEW: Essendon

Not long ago, the narrative surrounding Melbourne was steeped in pessimism. There was some concern among the pundits (and even some fans) that the club would arrive at the AFL’s Gather Round still winless, vulnerable to a familiar adversary in the Essendon Football Club, and facing significant scrutiny from an ever-critical media on a national stage. Things have changed.

  • REPORT: Gold Coast

Steven King astutely identified the issues that had plagued the Melbourne Football Club over the past two and a half seasons when he auditioned for the newly created coaching role. The side that had claimed the 2021 premiership had become stodgy, slow-paced, and hesitant to take the initiative.
