Yeah nah.

OUT: Jetta, Jones
IN: Hibberd & Anyone with a pulse

OUT: Jetta

IN: Hibberd

Bit worried about changing the dynamic in the back 6, but think that change seems likely.

I truly hope they don’t sit on their laurels with no change. Sparrow didn’t do much, Nev Jetta is really struggling, and I guess they’ll keep Jones until his 300 but then he should retire. I can’t stand watching him just jogging when the other team has the ball.

Three games.  Three wins. Reward the winners.     NO CHANGE.   How long has that been. 3 wins in a row or 3   No changes in a row.  I don’t think that’s happened for ?    Guessing 1987.

Jones is NOT being dropped until he gets to 300, and nor should he. He’s so close and he deserves to get there. He’s more than holding his position in the team.

Sparrow for me isn’t doing a lot, but I’m not sure what his role is. So hard to judge.
For me, no changes.

Sparrow out for Melksham.

Again, not sure what exactly is his role tonight.

I'd consider replacing Sparrow with Melksham. I know that will be as popular as a fart in an elevator, but just my view.

TMac has a few weeks to prove he's not just warming the spot for Brown.

I'd be happy enough with no change though.

I really like Sparrow, but that's a fair enough call. He put in his usual effort but didn't have much impact.

Wonder if we could have Gus go into Sparrow's role and play Melksham more on the outside? Gus' disposal has been really poor so far.

No change, no need unless injuries.

Kossie fast becoming a competition leviathan.

Just keep rolling along.

2005, Cameron Bruce 9 votes in the Brownlow.

Jones with 15 touches and 7 score involvements stays in.

Sparrow couldn’t get near it so he’d the only one that will be looked at imo

Whilst a good win we need a freshen up. I would have Sparrow (no impact), Jetta (cooked) and Jones (selfish and no defensive actions) in the gun.

I would have Hibberd and Melksham in for Jetta and Sparrow and have Jones as the sub (for those obsessed with getting him to 300).

.

Was that just before he got lined up and clobbered by those hawthorn thugs .

never the same after that ?

Nev is past it and plays like he realizes this .Always under too much pressure to take the right option .Hibberd in  Jetta out. ,Melksham for either Sparrow or Jordan .

Agree with Sparrow but Jones frustrates me no end. Refuses to chase, refuses to take first option, refuses to play team footy.

Sparrow will come out.

McDonald would want to find his early season form quickly.

Lever will never be dropped but his brain fades and skill errors cost us a few goals directly each week.

I don't mind the idea of Jones being the medical sub to pad the numbers, although I do think it's ridiculous that it counts as a game if they don't get subbed on.

I noticed that too. He was livid with his performance tonight.

  • REPORT: North Melbourne

I suppose that I should apologise for the title of this piece, but the temptation to go with it was far too great. The memory of how North Melbourne tore Melbourne apart at the seams earlier in the season and the way in which it set the scene for the club’s demise so early in the piece has been weighing heavily upon all of us. This game was a must-win from the club’s perspective, and the team’s response was overwhelming. The 36 point win over Alastair Clarkson’s Kangaroos at the MCG on Sunday was indeed — roovenge of the highest order!

  • CASEY: Werribee

The Casey Demons remain in contention for a VFL finals berth following a comprehensive 76-point victory over the Werribee Tigers at Whitten Oval last night. The caveat to the performance is that the once mighty Tigers have been raided of many key players and are now a shadow of the premiership-winning team from last season. The team suffered a blow before the game when veteran Tom McDonald was withdrawn for senior duty to cover for Steven May who is ill.  However, after conceding the first goal of the game, Casey was dominant from ten minutes in until the very end and despite some early errors and inaccuracy, they managed to warm to the task of dismantling the Tigers with precision, particularly after half time when the nominally home side provided them with minimal resistance.
