Pickett2Jackson 3,904 Posted March 19, 2021 Posted March 19, 2021 (edited) It is very fair that the Dogs have Ugle-Hagan still to come in to their side. Very fair indeed. Well done AFL on running a very fair competition with a really cool and fair draft. Edited March 19, 2021 by Pickett2Jackson 1 Quote
Wells 11 5,502 Posted March 19, 2021 Posted March 19, 2021 so many errors! from both sides really. Just seems like the physical toll of longer quarters shows up in the skills. I’m sure we’ll be the same. Quote
Lord Travis 10,819 Posted March 19, 2021 Posted March 19, 2021 Good to see all the rubbish new rule changes made to increase scoring are working out well... 1 Quote

Why does Anthony Scott come in play his role perfectly in his first game after getting recruited a few weeks ago yet our second round pick from a few years ago spargo can't even kick further than 30m Edited March 19, 2021 by Elegt Quote
Diamond_Jim 12,772 Posted March 19, 2021 Posted March 19, 2021 struck me as a 6 v10 game. Pies dropped a few easy ones and Dogs not that impressive up forward after that first 5-10 minutes. Season wise probably a little more upside in the Pies... De Goey couldn't play that badly again. Quote

Our skills are so poor already, I don't think you will be able to see a difference. ? But the doggies look like a pretty good side this year. They have a lot of really good mids there, and more who can't get into the side. Their talls are still a weakness, but not as much as it used to be. 2 Quote

whatwhat say what 23,854 Posted March 19, 2021 Posted March 19, 2021 much tougher, more contested, and pressurised game tonight than tiggas v blues really, richmond let carlton hang around before putting them away in the last 5 minutes Quote

Sorry Turner aplogize sincerely but Elegt makes some outrageous statements mostly because he doesn't like the player or disagrees with the Club. Quote

He can mark and score We've got BB and the Weid on the sidelines. Just need to get them on the park. We've got the weapons just need to get them fit and deliver half decent ball and we're a match for most teams. Quote

Or LJ with the potential to be anything, 200cm athletic freak. you win some you lose some in the draft. We have drafted well over the last 4-5 year’s imo 2 Quote

sue 9,277 Posted March 19, 2021 Posted March 19, 2021 Regarding the new 'Stand' rule, I noticed that unless there was a contested mark etc, players either go nowhere near the mark or position themselves on the inside but not on the mark in the place they used to move sideways to. And then wait for the umps to say 'stand'. The umps never tell them to move to where the actual mark is and then stand. Quote

You would've seen Henry tonight for the pies who had a mare, I hope jordan has a good crack today Quote
Vagg 2,449 Posted March 20, 2021 Posted March 20, 2021 The old enemy getting beaten warms my heart at any time of the year. But, especially sweet in Round 1. Now, the Dees just need to win to make it all perfect!! 2 Quote
