Wow. This is a totally different side

Now get them fired up

First 5 minutes of the game will tell us a lot

Suits game plan, if we are bombing long we need the forward pressure to keep it in there.  Pickett, Bedford, Hunt front and square pressure to keep the inside forward 50m.  We look balanced except for second tall forward that Preuss fills, the mix is a lot better

Yes, correct. Mate of mine, who's a big Dees fan, has a close knit business group with a bunch of former Demons. They have a busy group chat where they talk about MFC. One of the former players is till involved with the club a bit and passed on some things Burgess told him including the Bennell management and that Burgo is a big fan of Petty.

TBH don't care anymore if posters who seem to have willy measuring contests here believe me or not.

Same person passed on Friday morning that Brayshaw and Harmes were injured, which I posted here and came out correct. Didn't see you reply to that post though strangely enough.

1. So you're saying selection confidential info is being leaked

Same person passed on Friday morning that Brayshaw and Harmes were injured,

2. Hardly earth shattering but , in any event , if you throw enough [censored],  some will stick to the wall.

Finally get to see Baker and Bedford.

Bennell is really on the outer.

WTF FRITSCH & MELKSHAM stay?? Beggars belief, Mark this down..we will NEVER be any good with these two Downhill skiers in the side.

Goody doesn't play favourites eh?? Bultish!!

Weren't you saying 'oh dear' to the seven changes just a few pages ago?

Yep, a general exclamation, i couldn't believe it!

I think Omissions are right and a big fan of Preuss, Hunt, Pickett, Baker, Bedford as the INs (given AvB, Hibbo are more a given)

Finally a fast team

Not a fan of the Preuss inclusion, but... I'd rather look at what I think are the positives.

Baker, Bedford and Hunt will bring some much needed pace to the side.  While they aren't big possession winners, they bring that dash and excitement we need.  Same goes for the inclusion of Pickett.  Some real pace, dash and hopefully pressure.

Hibberd back is really handy too.

Only disappointing aspect is no Lockhart - did he pee in Goody's tea or something?

And smith has the goat photos?

Anyone know if Freo will be flying on the day of the game? It’s not an excusing for our pathetic performance last match but there can’t be much doubt that it plays an impact to fitness. The fact they’ve gone in with no changes could actually benefit us.

I really do think they’ve taken a management approach to some of our changes for this match. Bringing some pace to the line up perhaps to outrun Freo, of course number one is getting clean hands on the ball and then using the bloody thing well!

A lot of changes,  good,  but would it not have been better to rotate some of these players 3 rounds ago !!

Seems like deckchairs on the Titanic doing it all at once, !

The changes look ok on paper.  Other than Sam I doubt if the rest of the fwds have kicked many more than a dozen goals between them.

Neal-Bullen,  Weideman, vandenBerg, Pickett, Fritsch, Melksham, Bedford, Preuss??

That is not an AFL fwd line.  It isn't even a VFL fwd line.

I know they may not line up that way but other than Petracca our mids don't kick goals either.

Its good to see some speed but who is going to kick the goals.

Freo flew up with us the other day.

We were forced to wait for them...thus us flying on game day

You're welcome to point out all the times I've "thrown [censored]" and it hasn't stuck. I always put my hand up when I get one wrong.

Here's a running list for you:

Jennings gone - Correct
McCartney gone - Correct
Dees chasing Yze - Correct
Looking at drafting Jackson - Correct
Weideman injury - Correct
Max Gawn lat injury - Correct
Jake Lever injury - Correct
Bennell leaving Freo - Correct
TMac injury - Correct
Dees not chasing Hill, rate the top end of draft higher - Correct
Dees looking to split 2019 picks - Correct

Bennell selection for Freo - Incorrect
Rooke gone - Incorrect (Rawlings leaving possibly changed it)
Pendlebury late out - Incorrect (Different source, no good)
Roos taking a role at Blues - Incorrect. (Though did come out and say he was open to it)

Mahoney likely gone end of year - We’ll see
Goodwin gone if doesn’t win 9 games - We’ll see
Harmes unhappy and likely to request trade - We’ll see
TMac ankle injury - We’ll see

Gotta be a pretty lucky "[censored] thrower" to get that many random guesses correct hey?

If you don't want to read what I post, just block me, that's what I'll be doing now to save myself wasting time with your personal trash.

Wow desperate times call for desperate changes.

At this time of the season it would be good to see maybe 1-2 changes but this shows how bad we are going and how desperate the coach and selection committee are.

Their selections over the season have been questionable and I have basically no confidence in the coach or selection committee know what the best player mix is which they SHOULD know by now.

I doubt they would make a selection decision that far out from a game.

Id say it would have to have been conditional on Bennells fitness and form

Jayden Hunt last chance to save his career.  Wonder what position he will play....

I would think that Jaidyn Hunt is only one of a few that are playing for their careers this game.

Shame about Brown I thought he played his role early on against the Swans but seems to lack consistency.

Melksham does provide some block for Weideman but needs to use both hands to get the ball himself.

The team seems to lack enthusiasm for the game and it is shown in the stats. We are a confirmed clearance, contested ball team who has great numbers of I50's. All of these KPI's are well down. Tackle numbers are embarassing. Our inclusions for this week don't seem to have a history of numbers to improve those team stats but they may have enthusiasm.
