Yep, a tough stretch for West Coast away from Perth and missing some players.

The key issue for us is that if they drop either of the Dogs/Saints games they will be helping those sides get to 10 wins. If the Eagles win both, it keeps alive the possibility that we can qualify for finals on 9 wins.

Like @Jumping Jack Clennett said - I feel dirty even thinking about barracking for West Coast.

West Coast v Essendon - thankfully I forgot it was even on until I got up this morning.

This is the best part of it for me. Especially Scully. Hopefully this means the filthy liar will finish his disgustingly overpaid career without a premiership.

Dont hold back there.

Freo are a good side. A lot better than their position indicates. Good young team. Hogan has been good on return with 8 marks, 2 contested

we will have to play very well to beat them.

couldn't even score 30 points....and it wasn't because tigers were on song

4 goals is 4 goals......tigers lethargic for 3 quarters, cotchin, martin (and others) in snooze mode and missing quite a few players

not saying wanchors were bad, but they weren't good either

Yeah nah I don't think that was a sign that Fremantle are that good.

Richmond was off. Turnovers where they usually wouldn't make turnovers. Sloppiness. Didn't appear to be caused by Fremantle pressure, seemed very unforced to me.

And despite Richmond clearly being off, Fremantle kicked 4 goals.

None of this means we should take them lightly. We shouldn't take anyone lightly.

Would prefer this score line than them getting thumped as that might’ve called for a response against us. Will also give the players a reminder that any team can bring it on their day.

First of three games for WCE in 9 days.  Next two against Dogs and Saints.  Difficult to envisage them winning both.  To stay in 4th place they definitely need to win one as Tigs have Adelaide and Freo.  If we want to avoid an elimination final in Perth or against Tigs, we need to finish 6th or 7th so as to play Pies.  Saints or Giants or Dogs to get 8th.  That means three wins required and a percentage boost to comfortably be above Saints.  It starts tomorrow night.....

I assume tall finals will be in QLD or SA, due to quarantine rules here in WA.  14 days no exceptions.  You only have a week off from the last game.

no, the afl have put in a bye for this exact reason

expect that whoever draws meth coke if they finish 5 or 6 will be hubbing in wa for two weeks before playing

Disagree re Hogan. He took some marks high up the ground but was a non factor. Richmond were showing him no respect putting Houli and Short on him at times and they would run off him with ease. Was also matched by Vlaustin for most of the time and lost several important contests.

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
