The only synergy between him and Collingwood is the regularity that both manage to create headlines off the field. I think he would crumble under the expectations of the magpie army.

He'd be right at home with DeGoey, Stephenson, Sidebottom, Beames, etc

True. Far better he sign with an underperforming nonentity that would treat his return like the second coming of christ.

It is hard to see him leaving WA and even less chance of him returning to the MFC. He was a good player for us but also very high maintenance. I would love to have his 47 goal season back but it won’t happen.

If he leaves Freo i reckon the Eagles will snap him up on a nothing contract as insurance for an injury to Kennedy/Darling knowing if they get him right he's a bargain replacement for Kennedy when he retires.

Eagles are no chance of getting him.  They were not even slightly interested due to his off field issues

im so happy that he didn't work out at Freo after Peter Bell's antics during the trade period. Karmas a biatch.

I'd take him back but I wouldn't give up anything for him. Makes our defensive stuff even worse. And he doesn't bring positivity to a group.

Four goals yesterday.  Would be our best forward by a mile.

Was textbook Hogan really. Beating up on the weak sides.

I'd still take him back though.

He's a gun on field e.g. Rance wss no push over. Would love to have him back for the good of both parties.  Can't see him leaving however

No one questions Jesse's ability.

IMO the issues are his body and his motivation, particularly the latter.

I hope he continues to improve over summer and comes back in good shape for 2021

But I don't want him back with us. Its simply risk/reward.

I want a tall forward line of Weid, Jacko, and a fit Petty in 2021. Depth Brown. Note: no Tmac

Apparently his management have been meeting with a few teams, so interesting coincidence he's started to find form.

Hope we are one of them.  Come home Jesse.

People are crazy to say we dont want or need him.. come on, have they seen Weid play the last few weeks?

Here's hoping he has a huge Sunday night out in Cairns.

Indeed. Love to see him kick 8 and the heave ho to win comfortably! He could be the gift that keeps on giving to the MFC!!!

He’s an impressive BS artist if he has one eye on the exit. I watched his post match interview last week and he seemed more invested in Freo than ever before. Such is the modern player I suppose.

Would be handy if his form can drag his team over the line against the Doggies. Would be a nice little bit of poetry if Hogan kicked us into the finals.

Demonland Trackwatcher Gator attended training out at Casey Fields to bring you the following observations from Preseason Training. GATOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS There were 5 in the main rehab group, namely Gawn, Petracca, Fullarton, Woewodin and Lever.  Laurie was running laps by himself, as was Jefferson.  Chandler, as has been reported, had his arm in a sling.  Lindsay did a bit of lap running later on. Some of the ''rehab 5'' participated in non contact drills and b

There were a number of Demonland Trackwatchers at Gosch's Paddock this morning to bring you their observations from Preseason Training. KEV MARTIN'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS They were going hard at each other. The sims were in two 15 minute blocks. The second block finished a few minutes early, they gathered and had another 7 minutes at it. I think they were asked to compete, as they would play against an opposition. There was plenty of niggle, between some of them. At the end o

Better late than never … and quite frankly, there’s very little to report other than that training took place at Casey Fields this morning, that Tracc was there nursing his rib injury and that some photographs are on the club’s social media including this one of Clarrie in Raging Bull stance that gives rise for confidence. The other news is that the club has a new train on player in 185cm Dandenong Stingrays midfielder Noah Hibbins-Hargreaves (love the hyphenated name which is just so fitti

Welcome back to Demonland for those like me who have been on vacation. I’m posting this with some trepidation because of a certain amount of uncertainty surrounding the return of preseason training in 2025 after a flurry of weddings including those of our coach, one of our superstar players and a former premiership champion player and bloke, not to mention the recent mysterious incident that occurred on the Mornington Peninsula.  I believe that the team reassembles this morning at Casey Fie

    TRAINING: Monday 16th December 2024

Demonland Trackwatchers braved the sweltering heat to bring you their Preseason Training observations from Gosch's Paddock on Monday morning. SCOOP JUNIOR'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I went down today in what were pretty ordinary conditions - hot and windy. When I got there, they were doing repeat simulations of a stoppage on the wing and then moving the ball inside 50. There seemed to be an emphasis on handballing out of the stoppage, usually there were 3 or 4 handballs to

A few new faces joined our veteran Demonland Trackwatchers on a beautiful morning out at Gosch's Paddock for another Preseason Training Session. BLWNBA'S PRESEASON TRAINING OBSERVATIONS I arrived at around 1015 and the squad was already out on the track. The rehab group consisted of XL, McAdam, Melksham, Spargo and Sestan. Lever was also on restricted duties and appeared to be in runners.  The main group was doing end-to-end transition work in a simulated match situation. Ball mov
