need a jones out there now ,brayshaw can go home

Now if only there were someone who could tell the players how they might respond to the Hawks.

i know.  We need a coach!

we’ll see if we’ve got one

That was well worked, even if we almost stuffed it up.

Big ten minutes coming up.  Who is going to stand up and turn the momentum back our way?

Brayshaw is just a bog average football player. Slow by hand and brain, sloppy by foot, just a real liability. I'd package up a pick to send with him if that meant a team would take him and his contract off our hands.

Very lazy at times and just doesn't have the ugency or fitness level to play at this level for more than a quarter or so.  Has cost us so many goals over the journey.

Has his moments but too few and far between and murders too many of his non-pressured disposals by foot.

Trade at year's end while there's still value for mine.  We need an inside / outside mid with class who can finish.

This is the moment where we need MFC to stand up and wrestle momentum back

Brayshaw get off the ground

Jeez Lockhart and Brayshaw both poor again today after a few poor weeks.

HUGE drop off in energy

Phew....that's better.

Relax guys we’ll win this by 1 point

  • POSTGAME: Carlton

A near full strength Demons were outplayed all night against a Blues outfit that was under the pump and missing at least 9 or 10 of the best players. Time for some hard decisions to be made across the board.

  • PREVIEW: Carlton

Good evening, Demon fans and welcome back to the Demonland Podcast ... it’s time to discuss this week’s game against the Blues. Will the Demons celebrate Clayton Oliver’s 200th game with a victory? We have a number of callers waiting on line … Leopold Bloom: Carlton and Melbourne are both out of finals contention with six wins and eleven losses, and are undoubtedly the two most underwhelming and disappointing teams of 2025. Both had high expectations at the start of participating and advancing deep into the finals, but instead, they have consistently underperformed and disappointed themselves and their supporters throughout the year. However, I am inclined to give the Demons the benefit of the doubt, as they have made some progress in addressing their issues after a disastrous start. In contrast, the Blues are struggling across the board and do not appear to be making any notable improvements. They are regressing, and a significant loss is looming on Saturday night. Max Gawn in the ruck will be huge and the Demon midfield have a point to prove after lowering their colours in so many close calls.
