Unfortunately I think it looks as bad as it is...his  leg buckled.

If so, that would cruel Collingwood’s chances this year.

Might be one of those injuries where it looks worse than it actually is.

Yeh i agree.  Looked more like severe knee bruising with hyper extension thrown in.  Hopefully ok

Gee free kick collingwood. Gosh they got a few cheap ones.

Tonight is the first time I thought how good a player Toby Greene is and secondly how much the umps seem to find ways to pay free kicks against him. Also a few times he should have got  a free and the umps just said play on.

Is it wrong when Howe went down with the knee I thought great.

Those last few minutes I could just imagine Eddie sitting on his couch watching his pies lose another close one to the giants. Ha ha

Probably the same thoughts about other states copping a COVID outbreak like we’ve got (given the rest of Australia’s lack of empathy and sympathy towards us)

You obviously wouldn’t be happy if Howe’s our for weeks but at the same time you wouldn’t be upset for him either.

Suck a massive, steaming, chode of a turd, Collingwood.

sidenote; how come Mummy was playing, didn’t he retire? Where was Sauce Jacobs?

Those three Umpires including, Razor i'm afraid, to have their next game doing French Island Prison Seconds.

About a minute before Jeremy Howe’s injury, I was just saying how much we could do with him at Melbourne and how he was far superior to anyone we have in our defence, then ...

We could really do with Patrick Dangerfield at Melbourne, he's far superior to anyone we have in our midfield. Am I doing this correctly?

Howe is a huge loss for them

Had the All Australian spot sewn up.

Howe to miss 2-16 weeks.

So about 3 games the way this season is going.

I think the eagles will win today. Port need their pants pulled down.

If the Eagles lose to Port they can probably say goodbye to positions one and two on the ladder at seasons end. You would also think if they lost another two games that would be the end of top 4.

That Round 1 loss to the Eagles is starting to look pretty ordinary. They suck.

DerWayne just referred to NicNat as 'the best Ruckman in the league'... he's not even the best ruckman on the ground.

Weideman and McDonald should be watching the Dixon/Westhoff show right now.

And Jack Darling is not AFL standard.

  • DRAFT: The Next Generation

It was not long after the announcement that Melbourne's former number 1 draft pick Tom Scully was departing the club following 31 games and two relatively unremarkable seasons to join expansion team, the Greater Western Giants, on a six-year contract worth about $6 million, that a parody song based on Adele's hit "Someone Like You" surfaced on social media. The artist expressed lament over Scully's departure in song, culminating in the promise, "Never mind, we'll find someone like you," although I suspect that the undertone of bitterness in this version exceeded that of the original.

  • AFLW REPORT: Brisbane

A steamy Springfield evening set the stage for a blockbuster top-four clash between two AFLW heavyweights. Brisbane, the bookies’ favourites, hosted Melbourne at a heaving Brighton Homes Arena, with 5,022 fans packing in—the biggest crowd for a Melbourne game this season. It was the 11th meeting between these fierce rivals, with the Dees holding a narrow 6–4 edge. But while the Lions brought the chaos and roared loudest, the Demons aren’t done yet.
