Thank you Kev.  Demonland would be a better place if we all respected the views of others, regardless of whether we agreed with them or not.  As an 'interstster' who can't get to training, I value your training reports and Saty's equally.  I love them both!

Let's face it, we're all pathetic losers for being on this site at any time, let alone in the offseason.

Hostility towards Saty and Kev is simply a projection of the dissatisfaction that comes from knowing you shouldn't care about the offseason combined with the awareness that you care enough to read a website but not enough to visit in person.

They do, and so they're better losers than all of us combined.

Go Dees (at all times, but especially in the parts of the year when the games are being played)!

I haven't been here for a week.  Has Saty been copping it and, thus, this thread is born, or was Kev paid to do it?

Bring on Round 1.

Paid.

Actually I'm off overseas in a couple of weeks and thought I'd encourage the most regular track watcher and his posts.

Your leave from Demonland has been denied.

I just love training reports especially at this time of year.

I'm out for 6-7 months.

Not exactly long service leave but I'll take it when I can get it.

See you after the bye.

Thanks @kev martin  will miss your excellent reports

I just get bored with the small minority on here who want to turn every thread into a pissing contest

I post on this board for the reason you do, to keep posters, who unlike you and me, can't get to training or meetings etc

Unfortunately it means having to put up with the minority, what I do find so amusing is their inability to put me on ignore or block, thought that would be the ideal solution, to rid them of the angst I obviously cause them

I really like Saty's reports and pics.

And those of @Earl Hood@Big Kev@DeeSpencerand all other folk whose names I don't recall, who go to training and report back.  Especially in the off-season when there is little demon related news or first hand info.

Thanks one and all

Weeks.

...my standard mid season kind of holiday!!

Funny RG my wife often says to me ( half joking )" why do still follow that mob surely after half century you can see the theme"

I have no answer! Once I used to fight her attempts to get me on mid year ( away from our winter ) holidays now I see it as a welcome break.

That wasn't exactly what I was inferring Old Dee.  i.e. Terry Wallace was a 6 week holiday etc.

But I know what you mean and my wife often makes similar suggestions.  I can only hope that her beloved wees and poos enjoy the kind of success over the next 50 years that we have the previous half century.

I didn't have to answer - wife barracked for C'wood before she met me. Now she shares the same misery as me (and hope).

Thanks Saty for taking the time out of your busy schedule to bring us all up to date on training.

And also to Santa for allowing Saty out of the workshop at this busy time in the North Pole.

The difference is the Hawks are grounded in  reality it has taken us till just recently to get the picture. The Hawks won't sink to a 50 year low.

2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. 2024 Player Reviews: #4 Judd McVee

It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield. There could be more of that in 2025. The luckless Salem suffered a hamstring injury against the Lions early in the season and, after missing a number of games, he was never at his best. He was also inconvenienced by minor niggles later in the season. This was a blow for the club that sorely needed him to fill gaps in the midfield at times as well as to do his best work in defence.
