  • Co-captain (Wines) management reportedly asked Carlton to trade for him Ollie Wants Out?
  • Acting captain (Dougal Howard) shocked to be told to look for options having two years left on his contract.
  • Fantasia was reportedly there and at the last minute stays with Essendon.
  • It sounds like Robbie Gray is gettable next year.

Crows are getting the limelight so Port are going under the radar.   All doesn't look right at Port.

Other than last year's draftees I doubt there are many players worth targetting.

We have 2 close mates from SA. I wonder if they could be offered together to go home to Port, for Howard, who at 199 cms could help cover the loss of Frost and also the shortage of key forwards.

The coach is well loved by the players from what i have been told by a players mother who does my roster at work.

Sam Gray is one of the players being mentioned as available for trade, but he has said he doesnt want to leave the club. If for some reason there are multiple players being shopped around, its because PAFC have decided on a mini-rebuild, not because the players want to leave en mass.

Having said that if we could get Wines for next years first rounder, i would do it immediately.

P.S. They still talk about how good Burgess was in his time at PAFC... We scored BIG time when we signed him.

The interesting thing about Port in 2019, was that they had one of the smallest injury lists for the whole season...and still didn’t make finals.

They will need more than a mini rebuild.

It's Jack Watts fault. Everything was fine before he joined them.

Robbie Gray would be just about the perfect small/mid forward for us over the next couple of years. I would have loved for us to have a crack at him. Even next year as a FA, even though he will be a year older.

"What's going on at Port?"

Well, they're based in Adelaide. That's a start.

One tactic to combat internal division is to unite the troops behind you by having an external enemy.  But this logo thing is not the answer though.

What Port really need to do is stick it up Eddy and tell the AFL that they are ditching the teal and will be wearing their prison bars black and white only strip for all home and away games from now on.

They have played finals once in the past 5 seasons and haven't win a final since 2014. It's similar to what Melbourne and Carlton faced before/during long stints in the wilderness. Players get cold feet after being starved of success.

Another middling season of going nowhere will likely force some good players out next trade period. Seems as though a full rebuild is on the cards.

PAFC are 15 million in debt, they were never going to ask permission.

Would have cost them less to pay that designer for his 1 hour of work as opposed to spending 2 years "developing" their ripoff concept that they may get sued for...

They ripped it off no doubt, going to be tough getting anything from it, they have changed a few things to guard against being sued IMO.

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
