Absolute garbage. This game, the state of the game in general.

Could not agree more what a snoozefest. No spark, no great 1 on 1 contests, no room for individual brilliance besides the odd goal from Buddy. Footy is in a bad way.

It really is. I switched over from last night's Wc v Ess game halfway the through second quarter to watch John Candy in the mid-80's comedy classic 'Uncle Buck'. I thoroughly enjoyed it and didn't switch back again.

Only last halfway through the second of tonight's game. The AFL product quality is diminishing. It was never this boring in the 80's,  90's and 00's. The thrills are being suffocated out of it.

I switched off last night's game at quarter time and switched on The Wire when the kids went to sleep. Same tonight kids have fallen asleep watching on the couch, might keep it on cos it's close but that's the only thing keeping me watching at the moment.

Gunston kicks ball siren goes but ball then bounces through goals, paid a goal? I thought the ball is dead once the siren goes.

It really is in a bad way. 24 to 31 used to be the score 10 minutes into the first quarter. Now it’s the half time score.

Players are boring robots, very few characters. The few characters there are are social media vvankers.

Skills are shocking.

Coaching teams spend 2-3 preseasons working on a game plan and style, guess what, forget that we’re changing all the rules again.

Dees are [censored].

It’s all [censored].

nope... the ball is dead from a player controlling it etc...play from a ball kicked before the siren continues.. eg  a touched behind

Nick Blakey - Emerging Superstar.  Played a sensational game tonight.

How do we get him to The Dee’s?

Disgraceful performance of "magotting" tonight. Endangered players livelihoods, by not picking up and halting play in an obviously serious concussion situation. Tried to manufacture result by favouring  Hawthorn and "Roughie" after their ceremonial burning during the week.Might as well not go for marks any more, not worth it. just tap to advantage. Thanks AFL.......

100%. I’m enjoying watching the cricket over AFL which never used to be the case during footy season.

Buddy was great to watch before injury. Can’t see him playing more than 20-30 games from here but he should get to 1000 goals. What a gun.

And can we please recruit someone like Hayward. Only 9 touches but he was very good

Hasn’t Tom Scully been a revelation for the Hawks.......NOT!  It’s clear his ankle is stuffed.

I hope the money grubbing little toe rag fades away into oblivion.

He really has become quite irrelevant.

Interesting stats for Buddy F. He has had five kicks for four goals. No handballs and no tackles. Three marks.

Sounds good on paper, but what about his defensive pressure?

hammy went ping, delaying his 300th to a game of far more significance than the one against gc17 next weekend

he was absolutely dominant as a forward

Is this one of the nails towards the end of Richo if they don't make the eight?

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round. 2024 Player Reviews: #1 Steven May

The years are rolling by but May continued to be rock solid in a key defensive position despite some injury concerns. It was another strong season from McVee who spent most of his time mainly at half back but he also looked at home on a few occasions when he was moved into the midfield.
