Good on him. Have a couple of darts on your time off and have some fun.

Certainly doesn't affect his tank.   Maybe the darts are his secret weapon.

Will definitely be good to have some fun in a nice laid back ‘coastal’ town

The kid is gonna have a big shock to his system. He’s going to be a senior player over here, ‘Jonno’ retired this year, Sandilands on his last legs, Mundy & Ballantyne likely to be out too. Neale wanted out, and as their new star KPF there’ll be a lot of pressure on Jesse to provide leadership on field especially if, as expected, the Dockers are down the bottom again. One thing’s for sure there’ll be a heap more pressure on him to perform than there has been at the MFC this past couple of years.

your completely wrong. We had a once in a generation key forward and gave him a way for peanuts. If it makes you fell warm and fuzzy by saying that he will return then good luck to you .He has gone .End of story .

who currently has a serious foot injury, who didn't want to play for us anymore, and who's OOC next year.

Agree.

Not sure about a once in a generation key forward. Big statement. My generation has seen the likes of McKenna, Hudson, Dunstall, Lockett etc who all would eat Hogan for Breakfast. He is gone and for me I barrack for MFC not JHFC. Let it go as when RBD left I'm sure not many or any MFC supporters changed to Carlton or for that fact the many Hawk supporters moved to Swans when Buddy left.

I follow MFC not a player. Took a while to get over Watts and see what he has done at Port so let's just get over Hogan and focus on the team we have, which I believe will give us plenty of smiles in coming years.

He'll be right, he's done a good apprenticeship.Taking all that wealth of knowledge with him.

Jesse's a confidence player, and if others are going to look to him for guidance, he now has all the tools, courtesy of the MFC.

That's the shitty part of it all.

It's peanuts like you who would have carried on like a stuck pig when we gave up pick 3 and slid pick 13 to 20 when he was an unproven 17 year old.

You would have been beside yourself and carrying on like a pork chop.

You, and your like, are the great spectators who never have anything on the line.

How easy it is.

Fyfe is definitely a popular fellow. Wonder how he and Jesse will get along?

Don’t have to like everyone you play footy with/work with.

PD much of what you post is interesting and often insightful.

But fair dinkum you sometimes post some perplexing things (not to mention playing the man with specious insults).

I mean what does this actually mean?

What does a spectator who has something on the line look like? A warrior spectator? Obviously it would not be easy.

It has a similar feel to it as the old 'it's soft supporters like you that make our club unsuccessful' chestnut.

Anywho, just musing - I know you don't care what I or others think. The Ray Hadley of DL. Actually that's not right. He has no clue. Maybe Derryn Hinch.

The top comment predicted the media would try and spin it into an imaginary player rift despite it being just pis taking banter. Getting in early?

From the way he's standing, it looks like his foot is buggered. And there's a haunted look in his eyes, like a bloke seriously troubled by something.

He seemed a decent bloke being interviewed by Murph...

I know one former player who has had a bit to do with him who I would rate as a good judge of character.

And personal observation of him in the media.

Its all about Nath.  I would not want him anywhere near our club.

Written by Bell-end no doubt....  ?

A little bit of sadness there as a special player leaves, and a special one moves in. Life and the MFC move on.

Like a girlfriend or a boyfriend from interstate in the old/young days. Out of state, out of mind.........
