You’re doing well if you’re able to roll a modern car on a suburban neighbourhood street whilst doing the speed limit. As long as no one was hurt and lessons are learnt. Looking forward to seeing Jesse pull on the purple socks next season, I’d enjoy seeing him fire (except against us).

An SUV with a high centre of gravity will roll even at low speed if control is lost and skids sideways, hits a kerb and flips over.  BTW his car is a VW and not a BMW. He most likely clipped the parked car, lost control and swerved  into the kerb. The lack of major damage to the car indicates he was likely going at the speed limit or under.

it was reported that he did clip the parked car......after he was "reaching down for something". the something (phone?) was not described.

and yes suvs are easier to roll than a conventional sedan (higher centre of gravity)

when i was younger (and stupider) a common refrain was "you don't really know how to drive a car until you have rolled one over"

Many years ago my wife rolled her car on to its side going up a straight suburban hill, at about 40km an hour.

How you ask?

Left front tyre burst, pulling the steering wheel to the left, and being an inexperienced driver she hit the brakes hard and whoops she do. Not hurt.

Another time I came home from work to find her car smashed into the rear boundary fence.What the? 

Story goes she was moving her car down the driveway, only a couple of meters to put it in the shade with our 2 yo son on her lap. He has managed to somehow slip down onto the floor between her feet and onto the gas pedal.Down the driveway she goes,hitting the side fence, bouncing off that and into the side of the house, off that, across the the back lawn and into the fence.Again no one hurt except her bank balance.

Years ago driving up Little Lonsdale St I clipped a car that ran a red light at Swanson St and sent it skidding towards  the kerb, it flipped over onto the footpath stopping on its back against the wall of the old Queen Vic hospital. It was a Friday night when there was late Friday night shopping and there were pedestrians everywhere and it was a miracle none got hit by the out of control car. Luckily the other driver was not seriously hurt.

I rolled one over back in the day and learnt stacking actually hurts.
Was a far more careful driver from that moment on.

Or if the front wheel gets puled toward the vehicle being hit,  then the 4WD could climb the side of other car, and then tip over.

There you go, that sounds like it. 

And when leaning forward, head down, often that's enough to pull the steering to far either way.   Then bango.

Whatever the science of rolling an SUV, trouble or misfortune seems to follow Jesse. 

He needs to turn it around in 2020 otherwise everyone will be talking about his wasted talent.

In spite of all the crap I wish he was still at the MFC Ernest, 50 goal a year KPF don't grow on trees. Can you imagine the Weid kicking 50 in season? I can't.

Agreed, but with the assumption that we could get him on the park to kick those 50 odd goals.

What suburb do you live in? I want to avoid driving there knowing she could be behind the wheel!!!!

Jesse has done us all a favour . . . anything that takes a VW Tow Rag off the road is to be commended. 

Did it better than Franklin.

I fear that, if Jesse wasn't good at footballing, he'd be flipping burgers instead of cars.

I've rolled a car too around 20 years ago, hit a bluestone garden bed which would have been around 350mm high, ripping the wheel off under the chassis causing the car to tip over. Would have been doing around 30-40kmh.
