3-4 weeks out from the Grand Final, all clubs that are still in contention need to nominate who will present the Premiership Cup to the captain should their club be Premiers.

Which club champion do you think deserves to present the cup to Jones and Viney should we be fortunate enough to be on the dais in a couple of weeks?

I wouldn’t mind if Roos was on the list as well..?

Ron Barassi from the list above but I wouldn’t mind Paul Roos because if we do get up it will basically be a direct result of Roosy’s foundations.

RDB is the obvious but I was thinking the other day Danners would be a great option. Maybe one can do this year, one next year?

Was RDB rolled out in 1988(?) and 2000..?

RDB is the only choice.

Barassi easily.

If you can have two presenting then Daniher as well, but the reality is we don’t know when we’d get another one or indeed how much longer Barass will be around himself.

Would the AFL allow us to have two? I can already hear the whinging.

Or Neita!

ND and RDB??

RP,  you're as likely to know the answer to this than most on here, but when was the last time a past coach given this honour, and not a past player?

Just curious to know as I have no idea and could either make a case for or against ND doing it.

Can Clayton Oliver play and present the cup?

He'll be too busy presenting himself the Norm Smith.

Didnt Garry Lyon want nothing to do with us in the dark years?

I'm sure I heard Garry say last week he regrets getting involved but wanted to help Jim, difficult situation.

I voted Daniher as I grew up with him as our coach and his love and passion for the club kept it afloat during some hard times.

No slight on Barassi, but as a 36yo, my only first hand experience of him is as the coach of Sydney.

I honestly couldn’t care less tbh- everyone on the list above is worthy and I just want the damn cup!

These things often don't go to script. The most obvious choice in my opinion would be Barassi. However I can see someone like Neita doing it.

In 2005 when the Swans won I could have sworn Bob Skilton was going to do it but they went with Paul Kelly.

This appears to be a very decisive subject. In order to keep harmony in the club and on demonland, I'll selflessly volunteer to do it myself.

The Dogs reigned supreme in 2018 with an inaugural AFLW premiership cup and the Demons matched this feat by winning the cup as the Season 7 2022 champions.Meggs wasn’t born when the Doggies won their first VFL premiership cup against the Demons in 1954. Covid prevented many Demons fans from legally witnessing the victorious 2021 AFL Grand Final cup performance between the Demons and the Bulldogs, but we all grin when remembering those magnificent seven third quarter goals.
