I'm a Full AFL Member so given contending clubs have their own designated time ahead of neutral AFL Members (as opposed to finals, which are a free for all), and no two teams' full AFL membership numbers combined fill the Reserve, I'd say I'm in a pretty good position should we make it.

How does the silver afl club membership work? any chance of getting a ticket if we make it?

Don't believe Silver members can get GF tickets unfortunately.

Very slim I think.

I believe Silver gets a go at them if the Golds don’t sell out first.

Wise members will have previously put their passion into a GF guarantee on their membership and be priority 1 already!×

I consider myself both wise and passionate, just not quite optimistic enough to think a GF could be on the cards this year!

I hear ya brother!

Putting in money for guaranteed GF seat when we were crappola was always a humerous contribution.

One week at a time though, eh?

Me to Nash as I have always had the Country/Interestate Membership, naturally if I lived in Melbourne it would be a different picture.

I’m assuming there is a quota on the Gold membership category?

i would put our seat allocation at 30k max for the big dance. AFL members expands a bit and the coorporates get greedy

the absolute maximum is 40k across both competing clubs... it used to be 20k

Bloody hell am I happy now I've paid so much money for guaranteed seating. It was and still is a long shot, but worth saving me the angst of wondering if I won't be able to go.

I wonder how much more they'll charge for this type of membership next year...

A thought - We have a few players from WA:  Jetta, Hogan, Kent, Garlett...

What if we all buy tickets and give them to those guys/club to get their friends to the game and barrack for the Dees.

Member tickets on sale 11.00am to 3pm today so perhaps, it is may be a bit late to organise - this is when we need @Satyriconhome.

Anyone else happy to buy and donate a ticket?

From memory you've done it for the last two seasons like myself. Could very well be paying off in spades, just the relief and security would be worth a few extra hundred alone!

yep... but they did have around 160k plus members between them

The scary thing about this is that it infers that Collingwood supporters can now use computers and mobile phone technologies.. they’re evolving- everyone panic!!! ???

CLEAN HANDS by KC from Casey

The Casey Demons headed into town and up Sydney Road to take on the lowly Coburg Lions who have been perennial VFL easy beats and sitting on one win for the season. Last year, Casey beat them in a practice match when resting their AFL listed players. That’s how bad they were. Nobody respected them on Saturday and clearly not the Demons who came to the game with 22 players (ten MFC), but whether they came out to play is another matter because for the most part, their intensity was lacking an

    ALAS SPRINGS by Whispering Jack

I got the word on Saturday from someone who knows someone inside the Fremantle camp that the Dockers were pumped and supremely confident about getting the W the next day against Melbourne at TIO Traeger Park in the red heart of the country. I was informed that the Dockers were extremely confident for a number of reasons. They had beaten the Demons on their home territory at the MCG at their last two meetings so they didn’t see beating them at Alice Springs as a problem. They belie

    TROUBLE by The Oracle

Situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, Alice Springs has for many years been a troubled town suffering from intermittent crime waves, particularly among its younger residents. There was a time a little while ago when things were so bad that some even doubted the annual AFL game in the town would proceed.  Now, the hope is that this Sunday’s Melbourne vs Fremantle encounter will bring joy to the residents of the town and that through the sport and the example of the participants,
