My vote for Chris form Camberwell is most likely @picket fence or as a long shot @DV8

LoL... ummhh,  Chris from Camberwell.. HaHa.

I've heard  'CfromC'  speak on radio, a couple years ago.  i'm very afraid to say, I'm nothing like him..

I'm probably more a cross between 'Skipper' on Gilligan's Isle,,,  and the 'Professor' on the Isle... now, where did I put that darn Cap down..

I suppose on that lonely island for all those years, with nothing to do, all kinds of strange things ensued. Must be the tropical water.

(Me, even at a tender young age, I always envisaged "crossing" with Mary Anne.)

I guess you learned about MFC from distant 3UZ broadcasts. The professor must have got the radio working then?

I suppose it  'did', 'MR'.

'Mary-Anne' was around my speed, as well... GinGer was just, a bit too 'spicy',,, for li'lle ol' me.

If someone can locate the genuine Chris from Camberwell, the offer still stands of a gig on one of our Demonland podcasts so that he can illuminate us with his voluminous knowledge of what the MFC needs to succeed in the world.

If we could find Alan Jakovich, then finding Chris from Camberwell should be easy.

Hey WJ, long time since NY, why not give the radio producer a call, they are great at that sort of thing.

Chris from Camberwell rang Dwayne Russell’s programme on 3AW and told the listening audience that Melbourne had some real beauties in the Casey VFL team and was adamant that JVR should be in the Melbourne team.

Dwayne gave him a prize.

He's on to something...

I do enjoy listening to him. Your right. He does ask a lot of questions and often answers them. Often they over Dwayne's head. Haha

Credit must be given to Dwayne who just lets him go off!

Chris was effusive about JVR but he didn’t stop there. He loves them all including young Howes, Laurie, the son of Woewodin and watch out for “Wakefield” (sic) an Aboriginal from “Alice Springs*”. I was driving south down the Monash Freeway when I heard him waxing so lyrically about our young talent that fair dinkum, I missed the turnoff at Wellington Road. None of these blokes has played a single AFL game yet but he had me convinced that they all were strong candidates for next year’s All Australian honours and well on the way to induction in a future Hall of Fame. Rejoice Demon fans!

* I have little doubt that Chris from Camberwell is the font of all knowledge on matters Melbourne but he did have me scurrying to Professor Google for a fact check on Andy Moniz-Wakefield and all that I could find about his origins was that he was recruited from Nightcliff, a team that’s located in Darwin which is more or less 1,290 kilometres (802 miles) away from Alice Springs but I suppose that’s close enough for a program styled “Midday Madness”.

Only one expression could be used to describe that: stream of conciousness

The only knock I have on CFC is that he seems to struggle getting the players names right. Several times i've heard him call Fritsch "Bradley Fitz" and JVR "Van Rooyna" It just makes me cringe at times as he's on the radio often. Love his passion for MFC and all that but just try and get the names right so you don't sound like an imbecile.

Chris from Camberwell comes across as some sort of 'Milton the Monster' type mutant hybrid with a humouresque demonic twist. Concocted deep down in the Demonland laboratories. Contributors from the Demonland 'illuminati' who could be called to lend their 'bits' to this ungodly patch up.

Include: Special Robert because he is out there; Demonstone who 'talks' in riddles; daisycutter is a tram ride away; Redleg is well connected;  Uncle Bitters has the necessary thick hide;  picket fence for just a drop..., oops!!! ..., of his fervent deemania and Whispering Jack because he keeps banging on about... Chris from Camberwell.

All i know is if Chris is ever located and approached about being on a Demonland podcast the ratings and viewership will be through the roof.

Dwayne's antennas shoot straight up when he sees Chris from Camberwell's details displayed on his broadcast screen.

I know everyone might not agree with his content and accuracy of questioning, but you can't deny his passion for the MFC, Chris bleeds red and blue.

LIVE AND LET DIE by Meggs

The Demons’ impressive late season charge to finals will most likely come unstuck this Saturday evening when the Bombers blow up the also-ran Blues in the Ikon Park double-header.   To mangle McCartney, what does it matter to ya? To have any chance to play next week Narrm has got a job to do and needs to do it well.  We’ve got to give the Pie sheilas hell, say live and let die! Sadly, had to wrap up a great career in midstream on the back of multiple concussions which culminated in the Maynard hit in the 2023 Qualifying Final.
