A friend who barracks for the Tigers said that the only downside of barracking for them now than five years ago is the huge crowd that’s at each match these days and having to plan ahead. Each game is an event. No more just rocking up at the last moment

I have a few mates who are Tigers members they say you have to have a reserved seat or stay home and watch the TV. I have been a member for most of the last 50 years however when the MFC membership exceeds 50k I will only by a 3  - 5 membership and only go to the games against interstate teams. It is just too hard at any game against Tigers , Collingwood or Essendon.

Dragging my boyfriend along so make it 27,001. 13 GC supporters, 26,988 MFC supporters and 1 disgruntled partner.

Jaded, I'm sure you could easily find a half decent Melbourne supporting boyfriend to go to the football with you to watch the mighty dees if the current one doesn't have the good grace to go along to the G with a smile on his face.

Most of the good ones are gone but there must be one or two left.

Why would one want to go to a zoo more than once a year if that?

I love a 3:20 sunday game.  Can get up, get the family stuff done, out for lunch and still make the game.  then after can kick on for a couple of sneaky sunday night beers

Just received an email from the kiddies school.  AFL have given them some free tix to the match,  so looks like they are trying to get some numbers along.  Good luck with that!

I'm not sure how my presence impacts on the numbers - I take one seat and my guts flops over onto another.

I've seen the attendants try and 'contain' you when there's been a big crowd. It ain't pretty, Uncle.

I found an old truss at the local opp shop Moonie - I'll give that a try.

Better than the old wheelbarrow you used last time I saw you at the G!

2024 Player Reviews: #36 Kysaiah Pickett

The Demons’ aggressive small forward who kicks goals and defends the Demons’ ball in the forward arc. When he’s on song, he’s unstoppable but he did blot his copybook with a three week suspension in the final round.
